Gullies had an internal last Thursday night which was good.

It's a very different team than was put on the park the last couple of years. Looking forward to the first hitout this weekend...

Blackwood is a very good side and has plenty of run, looked liked a u18 side. This is not the hills league you need to provide a field umpire, I hope the league fines them.

How are the names in the best for TTG on the weekend. Veritable who's who of sporting legends.

Yeah TTG gave our C & D grade a touch up on the wkend. They have a good mix of older bodied players and young blokes who can run. Looked like they had a couple of U/18's playing as well (could be wrong).

Tough couple of weeks coming up with PAOC out at the Burra Dome and Old Iggies away.

Not sure if I would put Noske in the legend category, he had some pretty silky passes from one of his mates off the half back line :D

Had to keep all the kicks low, so he didn't pop a shoulder reaching for it...

hahah.

Would have had to be pretty much between the nipples too, lateral movement for the lad wouldn't be at it’s best I don’t think.

Glad old mate is back playing footy.

came out bruised and battered after our bout with Salisbury on the weekend. They definitely know how to make you earn every kick.

D Grade 10.15am game @ Colonel Light Gardens. Might have to pack the overnight bag to get there in time from Golden Grove. Haven't played CLG since circa 2001 when playing Div 6 footy.

And yet you wouldn't play us early because blokes had to work? Would have been great to have two quadruple headers HV v GG

Blokes do have to work and it's not by choice we are playing CLG @ 10.15.....it is their home game. IMHO quadruple headers suck balls!!

Playing football at 10 o'clock in the morning does not appeal to me. It's hard enough getting D grade players playing at 12 o'clock......

Same reason why I didn't like playing Triples. I did my time playing morning football when I was a kid.

Good for the clubs though. Can have a big day of fundraising and everyone can watch everyone when they normally don't get to. All the volunteers in the one spot. Plus it would have been for 2 games only. Maybe you could have stayed in bed and sat those two games out

No, all of CLG's home games in 8R are at 10:15.

Ah yes, of course. Because they're paired up with Blackwood and it gives volunteers a chance to get from CLG to Blackwood

Don't think it would go down to well if the coach stayed in bed and sat those games out!

Games couldn't have started at 12.15, 2.15pm, 4.15pm and 6.15pm as both clubs have lights.
