come on felch/fisty
you havent been very helpful what so ever surly there are a few players you are trying to lure to the club.surly you would hae to recruit about 4 or so players to compete in the higher grade.

and your gun on baller that nobody apparently likes out there and a ruckman are offering themselves as a package deal to a few country clubs, didnt think your ruck was very good but your on baller def was a gun.
I can confirm I won't be there, regardless of where Payne goes for reasons I have explained on this forum before. Our ruckman Nathan Solly has retired from A grade footy so not sure your info is on the money. Our gun onballer....we had several :D
Excuse my ignorance boozer, but where are you going?

Just say his name. I don't know him but that's what I've heard about Ashby. The ruckman could be the young one with the mullet.

Ha ha, if they expected me to ruck my price would go from $500 to $600. I'm sick of the corkies.

Hope Chugga hangs around after doing his knee last year. He's a tad bigger than me.

Ashby is very well liked amongst the players and even more with the supporters. he is extremely passionate but was in our leadership group this year and cooled his temper quite dramatically. Good kid just gets a little fired up at times. Not everyone can be as good as him and I guess he gets frustrated.

Ok I'll put this into prespective. Walasek and Paul discuss the possibility of leaving most years but in reality it is likely they will stay. Solly has retired from A grade footy.

Ashby will play there if Payney stays on I would say, won't comment any further on that one.

Matty daniels highly unlikely to move on, not sure where you got this idea from (unless I pinch him hahahaha)

Ramsell brothers didn't play A grade at all last year (thats not to say they couldn't) but it dramatises your point about alot leaving Burg.

Finally yes I am leaving and don't know where I'll be yet.....

Below is a reply I made in another thread to a very similar question...

my reasons for leaving are the following;

I want a more family friendly club. EP has a fantastic playing group etc but some undiserables make life harder for family life. They club did some great work completely cleaning up the on field stuff this year but off field still a bit of an issue, and secondly,

They club doesn't have the facilities, nor the finances to be successful in Div 2. I sincerly hope I am wrong because I loved it out there with the boys but thats the way i see it. If the council got behind the only really successful northern club (with the exception of pokieville...i mean salisbury north) and helped out it wouldn't be so bad, but cant see that happening.

Does that cover it?

Are you thinking about going back to GX boozehound? That would require getting fit. If you are talking about Clonan I don't think he is under rated. Didn't he make div 1 team of the year?
