Onto something else, and this is not a stir. I was told this yesterday by what i consider a reliable source. He told me that Haven and OB parted ways last Tuesday night - is that true ? Also, he mentioned that one of the reasons both parties went seperate ways is because of an incident in round 2, involving someone in your A grade getting dragged by the coach, and then spitting the dummy and getting changed. This player happened to be a relative (son ?) of a committee member, who the coach hasnt been seeing eye-to-eye with for sometime. Words were exchanged, and this was the straw that broke the camels back. Like i said, i was told this second/third hand, but i do respect the source.(quote)
i heard there was a phone call made to OB which was along the lines of "we don't think you have the passion anymore?"

you people have serious issues the portland coach is a nutter, MATTHEW MOONEY pointed out the score board during play not after the game.also the portland coach had a crack at one of our supporters and told him he will wait for him in the carpark'during play'. yes to much has been made of this but MATTHEW MOONEY!

Bloke in question pointed out scoreboard during play, i agree, but also headed towards us AFTER the siren, smiling and pointing at scoreboard. I was there, and was one of the ones it was directed at, so i should know. The coaching group didnt walk towards him, he headed over to us. Why ?

As for the other issue, im guessing you are talking about the moron who stood behind our coaches box all day and heckled us. I wont name who the bloke was, but from what im told, this same bloke used to hold a high position in your club, until he ALLEDGLY got caught with his hand in the till. He gave out as good as he got as far as abuse goes, and when he was told by us to shut-up, he squealed to the match day official. I noticed he didnt say a word once a group of our supporters moved alongside of him.

Im glad you think our coach is a nutter, you may just end up standing him next time we play. Im guessing you are the Haven bloke who made a song and dance about the after-game comments, but was clever/weak enough to make sure you had several team-mates between him and yourself - brave man !

I think both the Portland and North Haven guys should all 'build bridges and get over it'. Although im sure it will add to the atmosphere when they meet at Haven in second round. Ya cross the bridge(Birkenhead) ya pay the price!!
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Seriously guys..

Haven won - fact
Portland put up a good fight - fact

Haven vs Portland are always going to be tough encounters.

This BS banter will end up turning good tough football into thuggery and no one wants that.

How about everyone moves on and do what you do best... play footy

Except me, im shite at footy. HAHA
