The '08' Club of the Year is in some trouble with numbers I am hearing.
The recruiting committee of Nuggetty, Wattle, Cataroo & co are too busy chasing the extra players they need to fill the 2nd team to post on here.
Now wouldn't that be an embarrassment with a first game forfeit! And second, and third, and on and on!!! ;)

The President might have laid down the same rules as they have at North Haven, "Thou shalt not post!"

North Pines had an internal tonight. Good hit out for all involved and some good skills on show. Some good early signs for Mal and Ben. I think they should be a competitive unit this year.

Not sure what the final score was between Houghton and TTG. TTG we're up by about 3 or 4 goals after the first 3 quarters then the teams changed over so not sure what it was after that.

Not sure of scores, but it was a good hitout for both sides despite the strong wind favouring one end. Was good for us to have two teams and simulate match day conditions. A couple of the new fellas were impressive too.

Sounds like things are coming together nicely up at Houghton. TTG are generally pretty good all the way through their grades. Should be interesting to see how the first month pans out for all teams in div 7

Both teams declared after the game that it was some of the best umpiring seen for a long time!
the game itself was rather scrappy, but some of the young kids looked quite handy!
Highlight was the Cambrai Hotel after the game, great times.
Thanks to Sedan/Cambrai for the hit out!
