I think he realises that the balloon has well and truly burst at Freeling, his "stars" are not as bright any more, eg Fowden etc, so it probably is time to move on. We'll see if this story has any guts to it in due course!

Salis Nth over Gaza 7 goals, probably another 2-3 weeks by Meady's prediction away from playing there best footy!!
Henley easy over Broadview.
ROCS in upset over Pt Districts, well some might think so but not the guru editor from Footy Budget!
Gepps over TT Gully in a very good game by 2 goals.

gepps v ttg game was a hard fought game. gullies had there chances leading by a couple of goals midway thru the 3/4. Gullies had a few injuries and only had 1 man on the bench which prob cost them in the end. Pete Smith good again but a cant believe why he wasnt tagged didnt seem to have an opponent or if he did he didnt do his job. Ben Noske didnt play and looks out for the year with a acl

Yeah i heard Noske is out fo the gullies massive loss can see them just missing the 5. They have done better than i thought they would have after we beat them in a trial at the start of the year.

What club had there Annual Ball at the Lakes Hotel the other week & once again "trouble" erupted?
The Lakes Hotel have just started sponsoring this club & once again some of there disrespectful players were kicked out by security guards from the venue.
Its going to get to a stage where this Annual Ball of theres will be a non event in the future as Pubs & Clubs have had enough of the trouble & damage that they have caused to these premises when & where this event has been held. The Club is already banned from the Pier ( Sole Bar ) Glenelg for these reasons.
This same club i hear can't get a licence for alcohol after 12 midnight.
This type of behaviour of course ain't going to help them at all & its about time this club put these so called untouchables ( players ) over the coals.

Yeah but this is a new sponsorship. Ramblers have had Greg Fahey for yonks so it wouldn't be them. If it's not Districts, gotta be someone down that western side. Woody South have a ball each year, they use the Lakes but they're like Seaton, long time sponsorship with Greg.
