BH, heard a great story last night about the "verbals" between Donna's & Sean Jackson last sat EP v/s FP. it appears the latter got quite personal which he is prone to do under pressure. Ask Joey Muscara(former Seaton player), was called a "fat wog" by Jacko at Seaton when coaching Uni. then he tried to recruit him the next season. One can only imagine Joey's response. Big Al has never forgotten that either, just ask him his opinion next time you see him.

Another interesting point, seems the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, a couple of FP players wishing they had not made the move and stayed where they were last year

Its still early days but they wouldn't be in the best 2 teams in the comp right now. Given the amount of money they've allegedly spent you'd think that if they continue to put in insipid performances like the one last Saturday against Salisbury West that things could get ugly down there by seasons end.

I've heard there are a fair few injuries at Kilburn at the moment, and considering how well their B Grade is travelling you'd expect there to be a real lack of depth, which may have been exposed last week...

yeah well lets hope the injuries stick around cos we have them in two weeks....

Steve o'Connor would be under the pump wouldn't he? 4.5 million on players and they get beaten by salisbury west.

yeah Kilburn werent good as they were the previous weeks
but take nothing away from Sal West
I think you will find a few of the injured players start to filter back in coming weeks
Injuries have taken their toll, there is 5 that want play again this year
3 knee recons, 1 broken wrist and torn tendons, and 1 retired through injury
Out of those 5 they got a total of one game between them
I reckon Ocka will have them fired up for this week though

I think a bit of both Uncle Fester.

From what Im told,. Westies jumped from the gates and just worked to maintain their lead all day, Kilburn got within 3 points but Westies got away from them.

Good on 'em. Would give them a bit of confidence too I reckon. I'd be watching for some more surprises.

I have played in sides where they have recruited blokes during the season and to be honest it does more harm than good. Kilburn seemed to be having a hard enough time gelling as it is without yet another recruit!!!

Only one side can afford a player of Hyhorec's ability midway through the year & that is Kilburn.
Only one side has a salary cap of 100K= Kilburn!

Went out to see Salisbury West and Iggies today. Iggies were too good all day, albeit wayward in the first half.

Looking at Salisubry West, what concerns me about the club is the group of supporters who watch from their cars, pissed as farts, and stand there yelling abuse at players on both sides.

I saw in incident in the first quarter where they were abusing a young kid from Salisbury West whenever he went to that side and you could see from then on he played all his footy on the other side of the ground. Every time he went back to that side of the ground you could hear the abuse start up again. It can't do any good for the culture of the club when the 'future of the club' is given a chance only to have to suffer abuse from his own supporters no less. I'm pretty sure plenty other of their own players copped it as well whenever the ball went out that side.

There are some great blokes at the club who are really working to turn the place around. Watching a guy like Luke Curtis run around and go genuinely hard at the footy on every occasion set an example for the rest of them. But how can the club as a whole move forward when stuff like this is happening.

That is very dissappointing if this is happening down there, maybe the club should stand up for their rights & put these yobbo's under the coals & piss them off, how much more can the club take down there, nothing worse than seeing your own players abused by your own people & what makes it worse is its a young player of that on the end of it.
One thing i'd like to say to all you Salis West supporters that hang sh!t on you own team is, pull your fu$&*@ head in you clowns, your a bloody disgrace to all the players that have played for that club in the past & present, the club doesn't need the embarrassing attention you clowns bring to the club, think for the young kids of today that want to play senior footy down their in years to come but probably won't because you d!ckbrains will end up having the club closed down because of your disgracefull behaviour.
