The past 6 seasons prior to this has seen them play off in 4 Grand Finals and 1 Prelim where they lost to eventual premiers CBC.
Only once in that 6 years have they failed to reach the at least the last 3 teams..

I'm going top 3 chances:
D5: Chesser (KEN), Wilson-King (KEN), Sandery (HV)
D5R: Moran (HV), Delawyer (KEN), Jed Banwell (SAL)
C5: Esposito (PUL), B Anderson (HV), Nicholson (PUL)
Others who may poll well:
D5: Hellmanns (HV), Walkley (EP), Tripodi (PUL), Matthews (SAL)
D5R: Scala (LOC), Rentoulis (HV), Norman (KEN)
C5: Who cares.

Salisbury won't have a medal winner in either grade I don't think, Matthews may poll best for us in the A Grade being a midfielder with pace who had a good back half of the year while we were winning. The Bedge wrote:Footy Chick wrote:Which Rentoulis Bedge, Alex or Jimmy?
Jimmy. Alex played mostly A grade.
They have a lot of good sorts though HV which may take votes off each other - Mann and Gower have both always played well when i've seen them as well.
*edit* - winner probably should come from Salisbury, but they're one of the most well rounded sides it's hard to really see one major standout. Think Pryor polls well but is ineligible. Rogers, McPherson and Brown other who might be around the mark, and Bilney/Balchin may poll for their work forward.

Tips tomorrow;
A’s - Lockleys by 8 points, Kenilworth by 17 points (hopefully).
B’s - Lockleys by 28 points, Salisbury by 21 points.
Best of luck tomorrow to all involved and best of luck to the Salisbury A grade players livers tomorrow with Silly Saturday.

Interesting umpires saw it the same as the KFC coaching staff - how often would the umpires and coaches agree on best players! Fair effort.too deadly.JPG
*edit* - actually think i recall this game, and Dent was outstanding.

If you ever umpire one of my games, dont bother looking then - i just throw darts at the board, or ask anyone "who wants their name in the paper?"![]()
Couldn't care less about best players.
