I see a lad from Elizabeth's B grade was suspended for 8 games for abusing an umpire. That is a fairly large penalty for abusing an umpire. I assume what come out of his mouth was a little more than "that was a terrible call umpire"

Abusing an umpire is abusing an umpire isnt it? 4 games seems to be the standard (this year) so 8 seems excessive

I seen some of the great umpire abuse during one of our games and that bloke only got 1 or 2 weeks from memory, 8 seems very excessive

Apparently a couple of clubs have complained, one said two weeks ago I clearly cheated to get the C grade a win so without a hearing or any discussions with the club or me I was advised I couldnt umpire the last four games. Gee I really must be a rubbish umpire

Just wanna say how great the game was in the 2's today between woody sth and Haven.... Well done to both sides. At the end of the game all the players shook hands and then the oddest thing occurred.... One of the haven players sneezed and a wood vile sth player refused to shake his hand. I was gob smacked. 2 sides shared sweat, blood, mud, body odor, spit and bad breath for 4 quarters... Yet it's unhygienic to shake hands with a bloke that's sneezed! WOW! What a blouse! He was there full back. Eat some concrete bud! Rest of the lads were great
