Wow mate, paying players you must be jealous.
I have been around the club 10 years last year was the first year we payed 1 player.
Yet you pay blokes for Div 6 yet ure still in that div
Must have very good people convincing blokes to play and very good players.

best thing about CLG is the WAGS

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Agreed Choccies!

Good win for us yesterday, happy to get the points obviously. Pooraka have some good players, but their depth is obviously an issue. Top 10 players are probably up to par but the rest will need to improve or Pooraka will struggle. Again our goal kicking let us down, should really have won by 10 goals IMO.

Same old story out there though - get a few goals up, the game is out of reach, and Pooraka go the knuckle. Think #9 got reported late in the game.

Looking forward to the week off and then SMOSH for the ANZAC day clash!!

Don't mind a whinge Scottroo.

Mitcham do not pay players very much at all, and only a couple. Would be a pretty big change in attitude if they started forking out $350 a match for a player.

It's been 6 or 7 years since Para Hills played Pembroke & pity nothing has changed still got that dirty cheat b grade umpire Osborne is it???
Don't get me wrong they were good & whilst he didn't cost us the game, he is a CHEAT look out for him he's a beauty....
Why is it if you give a tool a whistle he thinks he is god??? Would like to see how he talks to people in the real world???
Poor attitude & arrogant as hell, needs to be knocked down a peg or 2.. wouldn't mind umpiring next time against him...

Its unfortunate mate but only the club in question can fix that. Same with SMOSH's B grade old man who is seriously past it and has no idea. He was the one that actually pushed the whistle in the side of my face whilst i was on the ground. I will admit clubs have had issues with your B grade ump in the past. Mor e the negative than anything elkse. Ourr ump is no better. Its the opposite to what you may think. He goes against us every week. I think he feels if he does that he wont look like he's being one sided towards us. Then starts making up his own rules. We talk about it every year on here. The only way it gets fixed is if we dont have umps and we apologise to eachother and pick the bloke up and give him the ball if we get him high  Other words, we cant fix it. There was suggestions that club umpires dont umpire their clubs matches at all. example our ump would officiate Mithcam vs Pooraka and so on.

SMOSH's fat B grade umpire wasn't much better. May as well have had a pair of binoculars to see the game..... or taped a pie to the footy so he would be a bit closer to it... I'm not going to use the C word but he was as dodgy as they come...

Flinders Park are definatly going to be around the mark at the end of the year got some real quality in the line up. i thought we could still take a few positives out of the Game, the O'Hara vs Perkins match up was a cracker and think they broke even, Christie kicked a nice goal to put Flinders in front late in the last quarter but apart from that was very quiet, seemed more worried about what people were saying in the crowd and other things rather than keeping his eyes on the pill. neither side had a forward who stepped up and grabbed the game by the Balls probably due to both sides defence doing a great job, looking forward to the return bout

You gotta be kidding right? Ex-club president and as fair as they come, As opposed to your umpire champ.

Good to see a GG player coming back with no eyes ont eh footy snot a SMOSH player across the nose, resulting in a shattered (read: broken in 1378457892189123 places) snout, and plastic surgery to boot.

Result: play on. Probably the worst decision I've ever seen on a footy field.

Fair play to your A grade side - good bunch of blokes, and made us earn our win. Very Good ruckman - worked hard all day.
