Aceman, i'll be sneaking down to Rowe Avenue tomorrow am I going to catch a glimpse of this much talked about "mullet"???

Some cracker games this round, 4 of the 5 could go either way - sorry any PNU fans you're the exception!! :D

Anyone know if Chris Mclean has come up ok for Gepps this week..
The little fella has played great footy in the 2 games he has played after no preseason at all due to injury.
By all reports the little body is feeling it a bit.....

There's nothing little about that "Hunch" IO!!!

Don't be like that carey, thats a little harsh.
I admire the way they go about things.
Yes I was wrong with them not losing a game, technically they didn't as it was a goal after the siren that cost them!

I spoke to a guy from Salisbury Nth this week and even he said the goal wasnt 2 seconds before the siren as reported earlier in this chat room. I dont wanna take anything away from Salisbury and especially Joey for kicking a match winner but it appears to be a decision that may have gone either way. It was apparently a split second type thing, the type of drama that only GrassRoots footy can provide.
I wonder if the Hawks were playing Goodies at Goodies would the umpire have seen it the same way???

It was a great game with a fitting dramatic finish. The best player on the day kicked the winning goal right on the siren, would have been fantastic for the impartial observer to watch. If goodies were playing it would have been the same result. No use making something out of nothing.

The reason is because they have been better than everyone else... Wristwatcher as a supporter/player of a recently promoted club perhaps reserve comments like that for when you've experienced it.

Macca I thank you for the sensibility, at least you have a first hand knowledge.

went to Rowe Ave to see "The Mullet"
very impressive ---and so was the young man wearing it
as one of the old timers said " looks like Chris Parsons running around again" but i reckon this bloke might be a little bit better than CP.
good win by GX but huge coaching "blue" by PD [ IMO ] sent No9 into the back pocket in the second half , after this bloke was their drive thru the middle in the first half ---very odd
must mention No20 for GX best on ground by a mile [ had his own ball out there ]

Moz, can't believe Hudson (#5) didn't get in the top 5 best players, killed them when in ruck IMO.
