I went to Portland v Flinders Pk- Flinders Pk won by 9pts, should of been 9 goals.( Portlands back half under the pump all day.)

2 Goals 9 ..... so 21 all up points hey? But at $350 a game plus some business opporunities, that's a pretty good average, dollars per points scored wise anyway. Matt's a game changing player, but please don't bring out the "Just want's to play with mates" card. Be happy that you've got a great player and admit he's worth the coin. There's alot of players who find friends at a club for that sort of money.

Actually u are way off the mark. He's on $1500 a game plus every time he touches it he gets $50 and seeing he touched it 30 odd times wow he made a fair bit today. Looks like we need to get a few more sponsors on board considering flanas is coming back soon and with matty Rowe onboard. Mitcham don't pay blokes come to our club cos they want to play for a decent club.

Good maths Ratpack. You are correct. He did score a combined total of 21 points. Well done. 11 scoring shots off a wing though, there's probably not another wingman in the div capable of doing that!
Im sure if Matt was chasing coin, he could get a whole lot more than $350. Maybe find a reliable source for your information. You are well off the mark.

We didnt use to, but have in the last 2 seasons for certain players who have lengthy travels to trainings and games etc. We actually rely more so on our juniors coming through. Maybe focus on your own club a little more. You're playing in Div 6, while every other neighbouring club is atleast in division 4.

Wow mate, paying players you must be jealous.
I have been around the club 10 years last year was the first year we payed 1 player.
Yet you pay blokes for Div 6 yet ure still in that div
Must have very good people convincing blokes to play and very good players.

Also some forward from Cove?Harvey?was well looked after
