You had your win yesterday now shut up and show some humility. PS - have not heard anything about the coach so until i do or see wont pass judgement. Give me a fortnight and maybe will pass comment.

Congratulations to them as they were the best side on the day and deserved to win. After speaking with a few of the PAOC supporters during the afternoon, they thought they were lucky to win last week against iggies. apparently kicked 3 goals in 3 minutes to win the game. If that be the case then Iggies after belting Kilburn today would look to be the team to beat along with CBC, PAOC and Seaton and maybe the Lions. Early season favs in Para and Portland look like duds
Favourites in who's eyes. We at no stage have touted us as being premiership favourites.
Improved effort by the boys yesterday but we cant keep giving sides 6 goal starts and expect to win. 6 goals to 1 at quarter time and lost by 27 points. Should get a few players back over the next few weeks and hopefully start to get our season on track.
Surprised by the size of the Seaton team, expected a few more bigger bodies but they moved the ball very well and capitalise on any f**k ups you make. Good game of footy (except the first quarter of course)
Para Hills were very good Saturday, yes they were 6 goals to 2 down at qtr time & 10 goals to 7 down at half time.
Just when Seaton looked like running away with it Para Hill had other ideas & the momentum shift swung their way.
Seaton showed good composure when threatened early in the last to get on top once again & win by 4 & a half goals
Scott Bamford was very good for Para Hills picking up a lazy 39 posessions & always uses them effectively.
Their CHF Flynn doesn't need alot of ball to hurt you as he's a very strong mark & very rarely misses especially outside 50.
Thanks to the boys down there for the beers they put on for the team after the game back at their club, the lads enjoyed the day & look forward to doing the same in return when we meet at Ram Park.

I haven't said anything about the win itself, and my comments wouldn't change if we walked off the oval with out the win. I just don't think coaches in any league of football should intentially try to hurt opposition players by any means. There's no personal grudge with the Portland coach, just a real strong rivalry between the two clubs.

I wasnt there on Saturday, and would actually appreciate knowing what happened, as unbias as possible.

Alrighty Felch. Game was won probably in the second quarter. The hawks were down by 3 goals at quarter time i believe and went in at half time with a 5 goal lead. I think you guys only had 16 on the field, while we had 17 due to the red cards, which is an obvious advantage. Mitcham midfielders got ontop for the 2nd quarter and our fowards were able to kick straight. We knew Portland werent going to give up - they never do! 3rd quarter they came out hard and got within 2 goals, but Mitcham managed to kick two late goals to give us a nice 4 goal bumber going in to the last. Same sort of thing happened in the last quarter, Portland kicked a couple, and Mitcham replied with a couple of their own. Portlands inaccurate kicking in the last quarter didn't help thier cause either. Some silly and obvious free's to Flanighan who couldnt miss sealed the game. Obviously there were players out from both sides. Where was Coppins? You really lacked talls, which allowed our ruckman easy marks around the ground. Which meant you guys had to really rely on your skills by passing it short - which i spose worked for you but you could have really done with an imposing figure on your HF line.
Overall, it was a bloody entertaining game of footy - goal frenzy, hard at it, and skillfull. Shame about the umpiring, needed an umpire with a lil more age n experience!

Prince Alfred OC v Para Hills 4-5goals tough start to the year will hold for one more week.
Seaton Ramblers v CBCOC 1-10pts will be a belter!! 2 best teams in the comp at the moment i reckon.
Kilburn v Scotch OC 3-5goals still not sure about scotch will see in time.
Portland v SMOSH West Lakes 10pts cant believe one of these 2 will be 0-3 to start but in saying that portland were 0-3 if i remember correctly 2years ago and won the flag!!
