TT, they've thrown you over mate! Don't think their trial will be against TTG given the way the new or ex coach feels.

Are we obliged to play them ace because we have done it before ???

Could definitely play under lights Pag, no issues there I don't think. 2009 saw no night games nor any triple headers which was a real shame and probably a real oversight by the club IMO. The atmosphere generated by these games is great and I think not playing them was a real disappointment to the lads this year....

I'm sure a twilight/night triple header (or even quadruple, depending on the make-up of the C Grades) would be some sort of day.

Yeah the triples we played against Hope Valley that were reciprocated later in the year at their ground were fantastic. A good opportunity to play in one game and watch 2 others and if you were lucky enough to play in the first one then it's definitly 'some sort of day' !!! ;)

I was injurred for both triple headers that year so it was deffinately "some sort" of day/night!

Pretty sure it was the first one and Mrs Tex came home early on the sunday from being OS for work, 5 months pregnant and on mothers day! Found me, head in bucket, messy house = TROUBLE! I even set my alarm to get up early and clean the house but she arrived 6 hours early! :o

Not necessarily but a lot of clubs do have ongoing trials with certain clubs. We do with Salis North so I guess it depends on how the club sees it.
I was being "glib" to TT so don't take it too seriously.

Well I know Weavs has mentioned maybe trying to organise a trial against TTG so don't discount it...

Maybe some have learnt from last year FS.... ;)

All travelling on well at the moment. Into our 4th week of pre-season and getting plenty of fitness work in generally followed by alot of ball work under fatigue so it's been really good so far. Numbers have been great considering we have had majority of the sessions away from Harpers Field and it's been great to see some old faces return for another crack at playing in the Ones. No recruits as yet though... ;)
