Wouldn't be correct in saying that. As GTB stated, was only a practice match.

Half the team didn't play that practice match. Come back once the season's up and running and new recruits are settled. Will be a force I think.

have a full strenght team except warner isnt playing for a few weeks cause he getting married, and peter fransico did his ankle and will miss i think 1 or 2 matches at one stage they thought it was a break

shannon has played both trials in A grade, so looks like this week he will play, but real question is for how long, there 2 new players from the country apparently one has huge wraps on him but we see in a few weeks

coach did his speech on tuesday how hard selection is going to be and there be a few dissapointed players, i might go out thursday night then on way home about 2am go past club and see if the teams have been selected yet (if selection night is like last year) HAHA you going to come watch????

Well you have given me a reason to look at sothern league scores for now on. There was 2 goals in it at halftime from what i recall and then some bgraders got some extra work in the 2nd half so realy Morphies should have won. You shouldnt throw stones over trials mate.
Thats what im talkin aboooouuuut!!!!!!

Looks like it's blue guernseys for the Raiders on the weekend, unless there is a last minute seeing of the light by bloody-minded bureaucrats at SAAFL HQ. According to them, the backs of our guernseys clash with WC's, even though ours are 95% brown with white numbers, WC's are brown/gold stripes with brown (black?) numbers. Nevermind the socks, they don't clash

Apparently, it will be hard to distinguish between teams if we get muddy. No sh*t.

Anyway, I see this as culmination of their grand plan to enforce all clubs to have away strips. Which I see as difficult for a small club like Houghton, hard to find a spare $3-4K, but my mind boggles at the thought of cost for larger clubs with four senior teams plus juniors

Its a silly decision. Your guernseys are blue this week? Are they the M&Ms blue that Carlton used that time. That wasnt a good colour.

That was the score champ, 3rd quarter was at least 6-8 goals to morphies and west croydon kicked 1 or 2 and then in the last morphies banged on 9 and west croydon a couple of points. Im not kiddin anyone let alone myself. Maybe you had beer goggles on something, there was a few of those on the other side of the fence.

I don't understand what you're trying to tell us here, Morphies Magic. If it is that Morphie Parks are going to be better this year, this is the wrong place for it, and if it is what you think WC will be like this year, I reckon wait four days and I'll give a better answer than you could give gauging from a trial that happened over two weeks ago.

And IMO, Morphie Park didn't look that great from what I saw anyway.

Our team manager picks them up thursday. I have a feeling they'll be flourescent blue

We've got a bloke from Smithfield playing for us who reckons that the clash guernseys they hired were always quite flourescent.
