Hey footy smart what is Modbury oval looking like after the rain we just had? You unearthing any more young guns this week to?
Modbury Oval is a picture mate. Rain hasnt done any damage! Dunno what the teams will look like, tipping the C grade will be all youngsters mate as per usual. Its a great breeding ground for us, we have 3 currently in the A grade that played C grade last year and all performing well.

Only really tight amongst the top 5...
I reckon North Pines will cause the odd upset in the 2nd half of the year. They weren't too bad Saturday and are gaining more players as the weeks go on, a couple of very good players to debut in the coming weeks I got told and they were watching on the sidelines.
I've heard that Derek Newchurch has signed at North Pines and that they are also picking up Damian Rigney from Greenacres. Expect the spiders to come home with a wet sail
Is that DN from North Haven?? No real big IN there, played Cs and really is just a very large thug and cant dispose of the footy too well, but he can find it.
Nah Derek played B grade against you guys duncs, got sent off just before half time. We didn't see him again after that....

i just noticed in the tips that bugger all have tipped TTG i just found that a bit odd, but saying this i dont really have a finger on the pulse of div 7 these days.

I have heard from a few people you have shown interest in Mawson lakes as a home once you have finished your country stint. You going to look at your team mates?

Having just lost there, yep!

Its a very strange oval, especially for the C Grade whereby they bounce the ball up on the wing, making traditional forward line structures go out the window. The slope of the ground is also quite pronounced, I felt like I could kick a goal from 60m one way and struggle from 30m the other way, even though the wind was not that strong.

The ground was like a rock in the middle when we played, there were plenty of cuts and scrapes on players knees.

mate my country stint is 100% over at the end of this year what happens next year i would have no idea.

yes i'll be involved in footy somewhere defaintly still playing but where and what grade is any bodys guess at this stag, but as for going to watch mawson lakes play its just the fact they have quite a few ex-paralowie lads in there sides including my brother so what better way to sink 864 red cans than watching the greatest game in the world with mates.

anyway whats to say i'm not watching modbury ;)

No worries mate, Ive heard there is a few ex Paralowie players at Mawson lakes and hope they go well. Was sad to read that they have folded. Hope you find a new home you enjoy and can build a career at. I might even see if i can get some time off work to call past Modbury oval myself for a look.

Two in a row now Juggsy!

Best win I have been involved in since 2002 at Mitchell Park today. Great all around team effort.
