Div 6 Footy Tips Update - Round 2

Eleven of the tipsters slotted perfect scores this week as all the away teams had a win on foreign soil.

Sharing the lead with 9 points each is Footy Chick, Demon Juke and bomberrob.

Remember to only submit your tips once (about four of ya had a couple of cracks at it  ), I'll take the first entry as a submission.

Well done Ingle Farm yesterday, looks like things might be turning the corner at rowe park, good to see. Shame you couldn't get the A grade win, would have been like a GF celebration last night. Probably not a bad thing, could have ended up with a heap of Richmond type ommisions next week. ;) Will this form be maintained with the U18 comp kicking off next week and are Houghton as good as they and everyone thinks they are?

what is this implying? I dnt recall any houghton person
ever coming on here and saying they are awesome I think we'll worry bout our own back
yard and you worry bout yours and yours maybe your players should play to the end of
the game and not mouth off saying they've won the game in the third Qtr :D

Don't get upset. Wasn't at the game, spend my saturdays watching my lad go round for Pooraka, thats why i was asking the question. You do all come across pretty confident (whats your user name ) after your Div7 promotion and Houghton are the div 6, div 7 yo-yo's. Can't comment on the players in the 3rd, but i'd say they were a little bit excited seeing goals on the board. Look at IF results, smashed by CLG then close with you guys. Where does that put you guys. Time will tell, hopefully i'm wrong and you and IF are around the mark this year.

Every club is confident before Round 1. I don't think anyone has come on here and said it will be easy, and I know from talking to people involved with other Div 6 clubs that it's common opinion that it will be quite a battle to make the top five.

If we could kick straight things would of been different. The umpires did everything humanly possible to give them the game. Worst umpiring i have ever seen.

i cant believe you are complaining about the umpiring!!! It was bad for both teams!!! Take the incident on the wing between the coaches box i got done for holding the ball but stood straight back up after being hit from behind resulting in me having to leave the field with the blood rule???? No high tackle noticed nor the punches to my head i recieved but i dont jump on here complaining its just part of footy you take the good decisions with the bad!!!!
Honestly think it was a classic hard game of football... well done to both sides....
I think the Farmers played a great game and made me extremely proud to be involved with them... hopefully we can continue this form on next week

Umpiring was definetely below par, there was numerous times that on ballers were left scratching there heads trying to work out who the free was in favour of. At the end of the day a hard fought game that both sides should be able to build on:)

I knew some twit would get on hear and say crap like that you kicking straight might have had some part in the game bu the pressure put on your fowards obviously had nothing to do with it, there was one mark that one of your mob took straight infont of goal, he tried to play on and one of our resident stars josh hawksworth was quick to react and tackle, your player then hand past it to another and the very same josh hawksworth full strtch dove and smothered the ball to through for a behind , but lets be honest it was your indirect kicking that almost lost you the game and not the pressure of good honest footy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

if CLG didn't kick straight we wouldn't have been flogged by 100+ points...
