Congratulations to them as they were the best side on the day and deserved to win. After speaking with a few of the PAOC supporters during the afternoon, they thought they were lucky to win last week against iggies. apparently kicked 3 goals in 3 minutes to win the game. If that be the case then Iggies after belting Kilburn today would look to be the team to beat along with CBC, PAOC and Seaton and maybe the Lions. Early season favs in Para and Portland look like duds
Favourites in who's eyes. We at no stage have touted us as being premiership favourites.
Improved effort by the boys yesterday but we cant keep giving sides 6 goal starts and expect to win. 6 goals to 1 at quarter time and lost by 27 points. Should get a few players back over the next few weeks and hopefully start to get our season on track.
Surprised by the size of the Seaton team, expected a few more bigger bodies but they moved the ball very well and capitalise on any f**k ups you make. Good game of footy (except the first quarter of course)
Para Hills were very good Saturday, yes they were 6 goals to 2 down at qtr time & 10 goals to 7 down at half time.
Just when Seaton looked like running away with it Para Hill had other ideas & the momentum shift swung their way.
Seaton showed good composure when threatened early in the last to get on top once again & win by 4 & a half goals
Scott Bamford was very good for Para Hills picking up a lazy 39 posessions & always uses them effectively.
Their CHF Flynn doesn't need alot of ball to hurt you as he's a very strong mark & very rarely misses especially outside 50.
Thanks to the boys down there for the beers they put on for the team after the game back at their club, the lads enjoyed the day & look forward to doing the same in return when we meet at Ram Park.
