2 good wins for the dogs today...
interesting stat from the 2's, plympton kicked a total 1.17 in the forst and last quarter

Well done to plympton in the A's and B's.

I noticed that C Moore's legacy lives on in the form of number 9 in your reserves. I hope he got his thrills from tripping up and then bashing a 17 year old kid on the ground and threatening to kill him. Here's a kid playing his first senior game who can handle the body contact in a normal game of football. But for him to subjected to a MEATHEAD who was only out there to be a BULLY (he only picked on the kids) how do we explain to this young lad and his parents that this doesn't normally happen in senior footy and he should keep at it and not just go back to playing u18's?

And then to top it all off, this THUG dropped his shorts and mooned the crowd. :butthead: Quality bloke. Your football club should be proud

Sounds pretty ordinary, and if it was as you said then hopefully will be rubbed out.

With regard to explaining to him and his parents i think you are sensationalizing the issue slightly, you would think that both him and his parents have watched enough football to suggest that your not going to cop an imbecile each game thus not requiring an explanation. And if he did 'moon' the crowd then clearly he is an imbecile and will hopefully be dealt with internally.

Not condoning it but when I was a kid playing at 15, 16, 17, i copped it like every other kid playing senior football. I certainly didn't like it but neither I or my parents required an explanation as to what happened when i copped it from some idiot on the field.

i very rarely comment on here, but SD very one sided comment. 2 teams out there. all actions were poor...

So you saw what he did then?

I agree that the A grade's discipline was poor and needs to be addressed. Frustration sometimes brings out the worst in young footballers. We wouldn't be the first football team to argue with an umpire or with each other. And I'm not more concerned about that to be honest. I'm more concerned about the incident that I first raised to be honest, so yes, it is a very one sided comment

Understand that jabber, but there's a difference between getting a hard bump or hard tackle or late hit. He got bashed, there's no other way to put it

No I didnt, I'm going on what you put on here and if what your saying is correct then its an absolute disgrace.

And to have mooned the crowd, well that says a lot about this player whoever he is.

If what your saying is correct then I hope he was reported, and i hope he isn't playing next week - mooning the crowd is a reportable offense also, so he should at least go for that!

If he 'bashed' as you say then I'm assuming that means he got multiple cheap ones in over a decent period of time (thats my definition of 'bashed') - where were the boys team mates to put a stop to it early?

all I said was, and this is just my thoughts noone elses, surely you don't have to sit everyone down and explain to them that he unfortunately for him copped a half-whit on a footy field. That's what i was referring to as sensationalizing.

The "so you saw what he did then?" Was meant for wb12 because he said the player was "spoken to"

Yep, tripped him over and then punched him repeatedly while he was on the ground. There wasn't anyone in the immediate area to stop it

Yeah I worked that out after I started reading back some posts!

That's pretty ordinary what your saying, you would think there was some for of provocation prior to the event though. Not for a second does that authorize anyone to then go to town on an opposition player.

Your oval is tiny, its smaller than ours, unless the event occurred on Valley Road surely someone could have diffused the situation reasonably quickly!!

I didn't neglect the issues you raised. I agreed with you. Go back a few posts. We're no angels. I'm not saying we are. But our issues are things that we need to work on and issues that most football clubs have had along the journey. Its not as if we're out there belting kids for self gratification. There is a slight difference between what i raised and what you did.

So you're correct, 2 sides WB12

Well in round 1 in the A grade your no.18 was throwing punches to the kidneys behind play which resulte in our bloke being sent off as the retaliator, not saying it was good what he did as there is no places for any of it, but i saw first hand dirty punches to kids behind the play that day

1. how is that any of your business???
2. Again i don't condone the actions of said player... Even if your version of events is some what different from the views of others.

Point 3. Did you speak to the young lad who was continously hitting a plympton player behind play and on the bottom of the packs because he was getting a bath??? or is that different circumstances???

SD this is going to round in circles... so i'll make it nice and easy for you. you handle hope valleys business and i'll concern myself with plympton.

It's none of my business what he was spoken to about, but you brought it up as part of your original response and now you want to back pedal

I'm not exactly sure how you hit blokes "behind play on the bottom of the packs"
Were there random packs forming behind the play?

If you're going to accuse us of something, at least make it sound slightly plausible...

i'm not accusing you guys of anything... IT'S FACT!!! Number 18... Got in the best players too, so you obviously reward that sort of behaviour...

What did you think of the 2 guernseys from a spectators perspective?

I thought from a distance they looked similar with all the stripes. First time we've played you guys in our new strip

not bad, little bit similar... the white shorts helped... oval was in top condition and the new facilities are great.
