good hit out last night i think our b grade just got up and a grade would have been 15 goal win..

mawsons lakes to me weren't to bad maybe missing a key forward but there intensity was there

any thoughts from a mawsons lakes person?

Our score had you guys winning by about 8-9 goals I think.
I was wrapt with our guys effort, took us a while to get used to your pace and pressure but when we did it was a pretty good game I thought....glad we were at least able to be competitive (I hope)

You're right our forwards struggled a bit but prob had something to do with the way the ball was coming in...we've got a couple key forwards who didn't play last night who may be able to help us in that area.

You guys are a quality unit, very well drilled and pace to burn I think you're in for a good year...you guys showed us where we need to be so from our perspective we got what we wanted out of it.

i went down and had a look last night and would have said blodge would have won by around 15 goals they seem to have a few new players and they look pretty usefull the two lads that had number 10 stood out plus no1 and the young guy on back flank with fluro boots played well in last half. did see that blodge had quite a few players watching that played last year so good signs if not at full strength. st pauls will be very good in div7 have some good talent and 15 i believe was clearly there best player for the night. did novosel play last night.

yeh young trent payne wore the boots (coached son) currently at centrals 18's.. we did give it to him for wearing the boots though..

we had about 6 to 7 players out with one playing b grade because he had to leave early and coombes doing an ankle early

i believe mawson lakes will do well if they have players to come in

according to our coach he is looking to focus on his boxing this year. i haven't met him yet but he is planning to continue training and we'll see if he plays. evidently looked ok on the track. hopefully he'll decide to have a kick.
numbers, fitness and enthusiasm all looking good at present. still 4 weeks until our first of 2 trials.

I think he played a season out there, not too sure though. It wouldve been before my time, bout 6-7 years ago i reckon.

I used to work with Matty at Allstar, good bloke he is. Doesnt he have a dodgy ankle though, thats why he retired in the 1st place??
