Not too sure what you are referring to there, Moz. If someone else comes along, so be it! No smokescreen, just too much coin involved with Coulter.

are you ready to make an announcement yourself shortly, Captain Cordial?
or haven't quite dotted the i's & crossed the t's?

What's your take on this one????

Apparently the okay was given for Coulter to play for Fitzroy by James Moore, the 2 game suspension was squashed if,

Wait for it --------------- The Fitzroy club paid the NAFC the sum of $800.00, ie, $400.00 per game.

I think you'll find the same applies to the club who has signed K.Walker., but only $400 'cause he missed last weeks game.

Forgot to add this, all SAAFL clubs supply juniors to the league clubs and some make the grade, some don't. Is this the way the NAFC wants to treat the clubs in their zone when one of their players has had a gutsful of the place, resigns and then a local club gets hit for coin to get his "suspension" shelved.

You've got to be kidding. Elliott and Moore have had their true colours revealed, good luck North, you're gonna need it!

Broadview in trouble!

It hurts to say this but Broadies appear to be in a state of disarray, they were towelled up by Gepps and had every right to feel crap, but as has been the case for many years after a game, players and officials from both clubs have always had a drink after the game.

Not one official from Broadies and only 1 player (Danny Zanker) came into the Gepps Cross club after the game. The coach went missing, so too did his assistants. This is poor form and leads me to make this comment.

"I believe the Broadview coach will not see out the season, if he can't set an example for his team to follow, what hope have they got?" The committee now appear to be front runners only which also is disappointing, we have shared some great rivalry in the last few years but the Broadview people did not consider it was worthy to attend the presentation of the "Stephen Ford Memorial Trophy" which is what we have played for every time we have met in the last 5 years.

CC, dont be so surprised.
Broadview have a history of showing no respect to their opponents. When they play away, their supporters make a point of not supporting the home team's facilities by setting up their own bar/eskies and selling raffle tickets etc.
It seems their arrogance has finally caught up with them though?
Gepps seem to be going well? Will they taste some D1 finals success?

What do you mean started to struggle. They have been struggling since the first ball up in round 1.

Will Salis Nth implode?
I was surprised to read Salis Nth beaten at home by an undermanned Henley outfit.
When Pederson doesn't play the Sharks struggle, i've heard he's got a bad shoulder & was expected to miss 2-3 wks yet he played yesty.
Gepps i believe are the side to watch out for, a couple of handy recruits before the cut off date have installed them as serious contenders.

No Mercy, I wonder how badly Henley are suffering with injuries etc.. for a club with 4 strong teams, it makes you stop and wonder when their A grade side loses 2 on the trott and their 2nd placed div 7 team loses to bottom 3 team by 100 odd points.. whatever is happening over there is affecting the whole club.

Have heard its a lot of injuries. ie crisis time injuries.

Being at a club with 4 sides, I know how injuries at the top end can effect all four grades. Henley, as much as I don't like them, are a strong club and will bounce back when some key players return.

Yes Chicky, any other club with the amount of injuries Henley have would be struggling alot more, lucky they have alot of depth. Henley's C grade had 14 changes alone this week apparently.

Without justifying the situation when not needed, i will inform those interested that the Coach had prior engagments and was almost not able to make the game, and the captain was rushing home to attend to his sick newborn. Yes, a board member should have been present after the game and that was unacceptable but coach and captain are more than excused. To suggest the coach will not last the season is just muck-raking. Jump onboard the Broadview Bashing Bus if interested but you are only worrying yourselves.

Is this a blind????
I think I've got to the bottom of the "no show" by the Broadies people. Might have something to do with a certain club sponsor having a gentlemen's afternoon where $50.00 got you more than just a beer. No wonder no-one was at their footy match, I believe there was plenty on offer. Anyone got anything further to report
