Anyone know if Gepps have picked up much. If DIV2 teams are to be competitive when they go up, they need at least 6 quality recruits, with 3 of them being guns. all to often teams like seaton/districts/edwardstown go up and down like yo yo's not recruiting enough !!

Seems to be quite a few playesr going to Districts! Who have they lost???? Had a fairly decent team last year (beat Goodwood at home if I recall), just couldn't get the wins on the board.

Gepps have picked up three gun midfielders from the Riverland
Pat Portolesi - Loxton
Matthew and Jason Barry - Loxton North
Barry boys in North's top 10 - played in 2005 premiership
Portolesi - in top 15 - played in 2006 premiership.
Good consistent hard ball players

Surely questionable trying to get these blokes into the centre bounce rotation in Div 1 from the Riverland League, it will be a step up thats for sure. Clonan will still be the main man in the middle at gepps.
