Jimmy or E.M, are the league looking at bringing in a system where you loose some weeks over a period of years?
Like a bloke added up to 10weeks and hasn't been reported or anything in a few seasons could we look at a system where u may lose a week or two. Or is it if u add up to so many weeks say 5 years ago u stay on that forever?

And the introduction of a MRP and each offence is worth x amount of carry over points that can be reduced with an early guilty plea?

I just think it is too easy for a bloke to be set up and handed down a harsh penalty by one club having the power to influence things.
Then after a period of time the bloke should be able to lose some weeks when it is shown he is clean.

The SAAFL 12 game rule has no time limit and it wont.
You know the rule - you want to flirt with it, you suffer the consequences.
The vast majority of players never get reported - why would we change it for the minority?
The AFL rule is 16 games - you pass that, you play your footy on your computer

•Shane Qorbani Seaton Ramblers, Division C2 Guilty of striking (10 weeks)
•Andy Sakas Seaton Ramblers, Division C2 Guilty of striking (2 weeks) and Guilty of misconduct (2 weeks)

Very interesting to see that after all the talk about how bad the bloke was from Adelaide Lutheran, the Seaton bloke got more weeks than he did. Sort of backs up the story that it was started by the Seaton lads.

Also is the life ban still in place for players suspended for more than 12 weeks? and is this an ongoing thing i.e. if the Shane bloke from Seaton gets another 2 weeks suspension he is banned for life as it tallies to 12 weeks?

I was of the understanding it was like the drivers licence points system. It was 12 weeks over 3 seasons?

Then again I'm no expert.....

then if you are good you slowly get points back like drivers licence over so many years lol

That has ready happened I think. An inner city club with lots of teams stitched up a player from a club that no longer exists......
