Any other news on Coaches for Div 3. There has been a few posts in the SAAFL newsletter and so on for some Div 3 spots?
Mitchell and Fitzroy have parted ways since the end of the season.

Phillips was at Virginia this year, but aparantly Two Wells are looking for a new coach, so the Mitchell rumour may be more of a fit.

People have said Phillips to Seaton but the people are saying that they couldnt afford him and that Marshall is in the hot seat for the job at the minute!

Gepps Cross would be the only other Amateur Club ( & Salis Nth ) that could afford Greg Phillips.
I've heard he's had an interview for a coaching position vacant in the SAAFL.
Thats why i've stated he could be back coaching Amateur Footy, i don't honestly think he'd be interested in the Div 3 comp so if Marshall applies ( which he hasn't as yet ) he'd be amongst the chances wouldn't he?

Couldn't agree more bulldogs. Have played against him before and will always target the youngest or smallest player on the field. Would want to be very desperate to appoint him.

as Pag has mentioned, this is correct- Fitzroy & Shayne Mitchell will not continue their unison into 2011.

We had some good battles though at that time Duncs. I'll never forget that 2nd semi and the brawl at 3/4 time. Can laugh about it now  but looking back now I am still amazed the game was allowed to continue

Surely he would at least play 'B' grade out there, i think a couple more of your boys might go back there and have a crack at Division 1.
