Wrong way round, maybe??

Just checked on I score and thats was it says there as well

Heard an interesting story about a current NP player and what he wanted/expected when he went for an interview preseason with a Div 1 club.
OMG, talk about rating himself highly. Maybe someone needs to let him know the difference in standards of the 2 divisions!

The scoreline was all ar$e about face, no win for the Pines boys at all. I notice the 'Star' is not on the team list either.

Yes a couple of transfers have already gone through at Nth Pines, I wonder if this star you speak of has the initials KK. If yes i think you will find him back at Flinders Park where he played around 6 clubs ago. I wonder where they might be situated on the ladder????

agony for us on the weekend. 20 blokes say yes on thursday, 12 rock up on Saturday...

the blokes that were there wanted to go out and play but we just couldn't...

i agree that we are causing a major issue with regards to the league and wouldn't argue if we were suspended, the difficulty is we have a small core of blokes that want to play each week. we're busting our balls trying to get a side together, but it's an uphill battle...

After last nights delegates meeting the CEO advised that Ovingham were done for the year and as a result of the lopsided results all clubs would be given 10 goal wins against Ovies and the scores would be adjusted from previous games.
A fair result but should have been done weeks ago. The run home to the finals will be interesting now as everybody will be close on % and wins.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

i'd assume from the viewpoint of the amateur league, yes they would, but it would be up to the clubs to see if they were dropped off at club level for leading goalkicker etc
i'd assume that the same thing would happen with votegetters too.

I think you'll find that scores only would be adjusted, that's the main concern not goalkicking and best players it's just bad luck or good luck, which ever way you look at it

Having a quick look at the ladder, this means that Goodwood would go top on % after the re counting of scores?

Goodies and Gepps are the 2 sides in the top 5 to play Ovies and will drop around 2.5%, the ladder should look like:

Gepps 16 68.1%
Goodies 16 67.3%
Districts 16 63%
Broadies 16 55%
S North 14 66.4% (with a game in hand)

Very even. Any side could finish top and any side could miss the final 4

very even indeed... just out of interest, these stats are before the Ovingham results are taken out or after?

either way i can't see Broadview making up 8% let alone 14% just by the games they didn't play against us... granted it's a hassle not knowing if you're playing or not but i don't think it would have made that much difference come finals time in regards to positions etc, which is what the majority of the complaints were about...

doesn't matter now... best of luck all...

Most of the top clubs still have to play each other so % will come into it in the run home
