Should the format used last year against PNU be used this week. Get the 1's under lights and the other grades play before?

Would be a great day/night of footy as all teams from both clubs are in the Top 4 of thir respective grades (other than the Uni A grade but they will end up round the mark come finals time)

FC what did PNU think of the day/night last year minus the weather and subsequent changeroom issue?

Ground is holding up really well actually and if the weather is fine then there would be no problems. Both clubs should have organised it, would have been a great money spinner for Modbury!

The favour was supposed to be returned this year when we got our lights, but looks like that won't happen now. The contractors are making life hard for us.. :? and next year... well...

Have to agree it didnt work wonders last year for 2 reasons.. first being it was the worst weather imaginable and secondly they organised it on the same night as the showdown!

6 goals to 1 in the first quarter probally won them the game. POsitives were we won the second half, much better display then agaisnt towns.

No. 6 would do well to find the footy more before telling everyone how good he is.

Just on Raggies - They must have some amazing depth in their lower grades and/or older guns. Smashed our (somewhat undermanned) c and d grade.

Looking forward to a very important road trip to scothc before the break. Definately one we MUST win.

Grossy murders everyone!

Good starts are Athelstones forte, come out firing and give themselves enough of a lead and hope they hang on.

Their lower grades traditionally have always been strong and are a testiment to the depth this club has but unfortunately in the past has chosen not to use..

Grossman is an ordinary player! If he did get a kick was probably due to the fact that Smosh were missing more than half a side. Didnt see the game but from hearing the result and the outcome of how the game turned out Athelstone were lucky to catch them at such a weak time.
If Smosh can get there side in order and win the remaining two games of the first round they will be a big threat 2nd half of the year. Scotch and PNU would be pencilled in wins.
Getting there guns back after the break, plus the addition of cakebread will give smosh a forward line to create problems for any side.

Grossman is ordinary. Probably got a kick cause Smosh had more than half a side watching on saturday.
With games against scotch and PNU to come smosh would have pencilled these in as wins and will be a force to watch second half of the year.
Didnt see the game on saturday but from what i hear were missing key forwards and had no targets to kick to. When they get there full squad back and the addition of Cakebread after the long weekend break there forward line will have good structure.
Dont write them off just yet could make a big play come finals time.

Cakebread back, bout time that kid pulled the boots back on. Will be interesting to see whether he has the desire to play footy. Last couple seasons, baseball seems to have taken over.

Is Rob Fraser playing at all with SMOSH?
If so how's he going, is he getting a kick, havn't heard or read anything about him in the results.
Is he another of your guns injured Always Mobile?
Their was alot of talk early in the year from all down SMOSH way, talking premierships, gone awfully quiet.

NM,

Please name exactly who from SMOSH (NB: not someone who once went to the club for a beer because he knew a guy whose dog was friends with an ex-player) was talking prmeierships. Unlike yourself, we have come to grips with a phenomenon called reality.

Reality is DIvision two is a very tough competition and we've quickly found ourself behind the eightball.

Frase has been struggling with injuries but had fit in a few particularly good games - Was great against PHOS where he worked damn hard due to a ruckman sitting 15m in front of him.

Should have about 29827183419 Ins this week.

LOoking forward to playing on the slope at scotch. UP the Lions.

(oh and Always Mobile, Haven't worked out who you are yet bud, but I'm pretty sure I'm faster then you)
