Mate without being too harsh they were less than impressive.....Had four or five fringe players out apparently. In the dry the margin may have been a little different. By half time we had only one on the bench...lost one for the season and full forward for a couple of weeks....

care to name who is gone for the year any how will that affest you guys

Paul Jones (Docker) out for the year....ACL. Massive lost, won players player award last year and is a vice captain....absolute gem of a player/bloke...he will stay heavily involved and look after our defence in an assistant type role.

Docker is one on the greatest blokes you could ever meet in your life and for him to have an injury that will keep him out for the year is terrible news to not just the footy club but his family aswell. Boozehound tell docker to keeps his head up and i will come out for a chat and kick next tuesday night. thats is terrible news for the club. How are the other boys taking it and is there a renewed vigour to dedicate the season to him.

I got a phone call on Saturday about the Francis thing. I don't know, after what happened last year, how they didn't lose more blokes than they did. And for it to happen again, well, as bad as this sounds, but Salisbury West is better off without him.

Luckily SPOC aren't as bad as us hey Shrek? Interesting comment since each has one win, over the same team, and your club has played neither yet. Not quite sure what the obersvation is based on. :?

Parks loosing Doc for the year is a blow to the club. bloke can play any position on the ground. and he's a top bloke and honest player.

I was just saying that if they aren't relegated this year it wont be due to them being good enough to stay up.

I don't get colour for chanel 31, so I did't see any flashes of red to identify you. Were you the tall guy with the crew cut?

They finished 4th last year and people left because of what he did. Maybe they'll come back now.

Who are Para Hills playing? Hanson can only kick goals against crap sides.

played Salis west and struggled to get over the line by 17 points. Came from behind in the last quarter. Hanson kicked 6 and Flynn with 5 out of 13.

I went and watched the Eastern Park v Salisbury A's, B's & C's triple header today...

Salisbury got up in close games with the two early games, C's and B's, but Eastern Park pumped Eddie Hocking's mob in the A Grade...

Reckon they got up by close to 20 goals in the end, though better players for Eastern Park, in no order were Ashby, Lane, Walasek, T.Gatto, B.Gatto (took a couple of hangers !!), T.Gatto and Nathan Scott... B.Donnelly didn't play, hammy I think...

Don't think anyone really kicked a bag, everyone shared it around...

Ashby probably ended up with 4 or 5, Danny Walton 3 or 4, Troy Gatto kicked 3 or 4 as well, Tommy hamiltin had a couple, Laney when not rucking, resting down forward and a few others with singles...

Looks like Payney has a real good team this year, hope my old club can have a great year and get up into Div 2 next year...

Pair of guns that's for sure!

Interesting that PH have only played (and beaten) 3 teams in the bottom 4 and 1 in the top (and lost)... Can't really get a good feel for where they sit at the moment. Hopefully though the Hills boys can front up and knock off a couple of those top 4 sides and establish themselves as a serious threat! Would love to see em give Div 3 a real shake!
If i'm not playing football then i'm probably watching it, otherwise i'm at least thinking about it!

Fair assessment that...to be honest boys didn't play that great and still won by a good amount ( no disrespect intended)....4-5 good players out so signs are good....

Igs have certainly started to gel over the last couple of weeks. I think most teams know that they have the firepower to beat anyone on their day- its just their consistency that has been questionable.

Flinders Park are definitely a quality side and kept coming at Igs but having seen Igs play Flinders Park and Eastern Park I would say that Eastern Park were the more impressive side.

Didn't get to watch the boys play boozehound, I was asked to go watch the Kilburn V Walkies game as we have Walkies coming up soon and see them as a danger team. Kilburn beat Walkerville each quarter and were comfortable 6 goal winners.

I was speaking to some Walkies boys and they're not confident their season will get back on track. They have just played the 3 form teams of the comp though and should have some easier games until they play us.

Salisbury West next week for Walkies. Those two teams will get it on because they don't get along. No doubt Wests will try and intimidate Walkerville who have a massive question mark over their toughness and character at the moment.

I heard a rumour Fabian Francis coached Salis West on sat, anyone have any update on this?
I thought they parted ways as stated in the footy budget.
Have they kissed & made up?
