Swayne Ackland sighted training out with Kenilworth after playing with PNU last year in Div 2....could be a handy pick up! Can they afford him though?

quality player, very surprised he'd go there considering PNU just got into D1, and he has a very good relationship with Macca...
stranger things happen though... wouldnt benefit him much

lives around the corner from the oval..so might be just doing some training

would be surprising for the emboldened reasons.. hes been contacted most years since hes left but always says hes happy at pnu..wouldnt be there for free either as you say but would have a big influence in div 6 you would think..nice catch if true

Just had a look at the draft draw for The Lodge

Anzac Day

Brahma Lodge v Elizabeth Triple Header at Brahma Lodge

Any other clubs who are interested in a Triple Header with us PM and we will organise with the SAAFL to put them in the draw

Well it helps when you know the two clubs had agreed to do it and was just a matter if the league could make it work ;)
I saw your oval the other day not looking good and would say would not be fit to hold a game as is - are the council going to pump some water into it and do you have any back up plans just in case it doesnt come up

the template must ahve been listening.
a couple of plans in place for early rounds. our draft draw gives us some flexibility at this stage. we are honestly on the edge of ongoing existence unless something happens in 2010. personally spent a lot of time discussing options with the lease holder over the last 2 years in particular and sorucing alternate homes, neither with much success.

Same issue with their oval last year, but it came good pretty quickly and was fine after obviously a bit of water went into it.
