Nothing wrong with evening up the free kick count when the other bloke is not being fair

Kale would be the only accredited umpire in that grade, and while at the start of the game - there are 2 even teams out there.. if the other peanut with a whistle is only pointing one direction - then IMO it's fair for both teams to get free kicks and he should be giving Golden Grove some...

As have been unlucky in the last few weeks, but this suggestion of No Scudds No Golden Grove is a joke, the depth at our club is quality just look at the Bs, Cs, Ds and 18s all sitting 1st or 2nd...it wont be long until the As find the winning formula and start to win the close ones and rise up the ladder!

A grade will 100% bounce back with a win this week.... ALl of our gun players wil hit form, and we will have a good win.

Few guys just need confidende back i think.... Hopefully not too many injury concerns for them this week tho..
But with out luck their prob will be

looking at past results there seems to be a lack of promotion of players etc....
Is the B grade coach playing fav's? Clearly this shows a lack of faith in the lower grades mayb a laack of depth? this is not a dig jus an observation i may b wrong and if so i eat my own words

how do you justify this comment?

b grade seem to be winning so why change a winning side if there isnt injuries...

there might be some changes this week who knows....

lack of depth??? c and d grade winning by 10 or more goals last 2 or 3 weeks shows a lack of depth..... then id love to see it if we had depth.

After talking to a few older GG guys, they seem to have the impression that the young lads in the A's were/are getting a bit over confident and a bit 'cokie'! Surely with the B grade playing well there would be a few lads putting pressure on these A graders to perform, any signs of mitchy making a few tough calls with a couple of these players dropping them to the B's for a bit of a wake up call??

Whats the step up like from Div 5 to 4 anyways?

When you go up 2 divisions in 2 years I think its probably best to stick to what has worked over...I wouldnt call that playing favourites! BUT If things keep going the way they are at the moment some players might need a wake up call in the Bs as some players are playing ripping football in the lower grades at the moment and not getting rewarded for it.

I'm not sure the young lads were being cockie but I think when you hear and read alot of wind being blown up your @ss some peopel start to believe it after a while but I honestly think that is not the case because anyone with an attitude like that would have been put back in their place after being beaten (physically and on the scoreboard) by Fitzroy in Round 1. Last year we commented that their appeared to be alot of depth and I guess in Div 5 we were right as the comp was fairly weak but the step to Div 4 has seen that depth not as strong as we'd have liked and those guys that may have been able to step up into Div 5 not quite on the mark just yet in Div 4. The B's, C's and D's are going great and the depth in those grades is fanatatic with guys being able to move thru those grades both ways easily but I honestly dont think there are too many B graders that are ready to move into the A's and deliver in lots of areas like skills, intensity, strength and fitness. But we are still learning and still havign a red hot crack.
