What are you waiting for??
Good start to the year for Seaton. That should be enough for you NM.
I hear your out at another Western suburbs club. Good luck Portland. Premiership chaser is a word that springs to mind. Likes to be around when the going is good.[/quote]

Why did Seaton re-appoint him last year, maybe to win a premiership? Thats why we all play isnt it?

Pembroke v Seaton - Thats a given based on my thoughts of the ramblers Pembroke by 4 goals

What are your thoughts on Ramblers, is there a bit of rivalry between the two clubs?

I dont think the rest of the guys need a repeat of that can being re-opened. Only that it got too hard for some when the club slipped down and other things. Other then that its just basically the local western rivalries.

Satchel you have no idea what happened that season where a number of players including myself left Portland.
It wasnt too hard, you can only hit your head against a wall so many times before you have to move on.
If you wish to know the ins and outs pm me.

Flinders Park, but not by as much as most people think
Para Hills to beat Mitcham
SMOSH over Pooraka
Pembroke/Seaton - 50/50 but maybe Seaton with a different attitude to last year
Portland over CBC, but only because CBC have lost key players

If they did have these guys X? I think the results last year speak for themselves. I think even if they did have these guys the result would be the same

SMOSH v Pooraka - Danger game for us, Pooraka are a bit of unknown and clearly made Seaton Earn their win last week - by no means an easy feat. Must go in with the same intencity as last week, hopefully for another hard-earned away win by a few cheeky goals.
Mitcham v Para Hills - Like Mitcham in this one. Will be close, but they play their small oval quite well.
Seaton v Pembroke - Still got some quality kicking around, and think they should get over Seatonin a bit of an upset.
Portland v CBCOC - Portland to get on the board with a strong win at home. Heard jars gave an almighty spray at 1/4 time last week, CBCOC Would want to start well, otherwise they'll cop it from jars, and the Thunder hill crowd!

Few good close games this week again - bloody even division!

Turbo do you realise that Flinders Park used 8 points on Saturday and still won,how will they be when they use the full Quota and some :D

They'll have even more disappointed longtime clubmen playing twos!

I think its not that flinders have the ability to play with 17, its the ridiculousness of the decision to allow it that angers most people. Don't think the poitns system is too much of a concern in div 3 anyhow. Really only Div 1 and country footy that is effected by it IMO. FTR SMOSH played with zero points (98% sure) on the weekend.

The system is a concern seeing that other clubs that may have or would like to get those extra points, cant and didnt. All clubs should be treated equally regardless of dropping or coming up a grade. In the scheme of things what points a player has and if they line up and what those points equate to on the field is irrelevant. We used under a handfull last week. A player that attracts 5 points could play like a Div 7 B grader on any given day (although that may be far fetched). I dont see the point. Not having a crack mate just piping up as usual.

So as each week goes by if a side uses their full quota of points should win or if they dont they loose? I may be wrong but my view along with others that FP and whatever clubs get extra points for basically having a sook or they couldnt use a calculator to work the points out should never have happened. Why put a system in place if some can get an advantage over others. Dropping a division in my view has its advantages unless their is an exodus like some clubs have had in the past ;).
