PAOC v Old Iggies - good pickups for Iggies and we're a reasonable side last year, should get up, but will be a close one.
Seaton v Portland - both teams 'appear' to have recruited hard, but will be interesting when the teams come out to see what's truth and what's not. Seaton for me with the higher level of football experience.
CBCOC v Para Hills - haven't heard much from PH, but usually pick up some good players, and had a good side last year. Injuries wont worry them too much with reasonable depth.
Kilburn v SMOSH West Lakes - looked pretty good against us in the trial we played, and if you can believe what you hear about Kilburn then they are in a bit of strife.
Mitcham v Scotch OC - Hawks to get up in the first 1/2 of the season this year against scotch like we did last year. Home ground advantage should help. Would say scotch's in's/out's have almost nulified, and I'd like to think the hawks from last year have all improved, as well as picked up a couple of handy recruits. Nice to see a few of our younger players deciding to take it seriously this year as well!

As far as Seatons concerned theres been no hard recruiting.
Youth is Seatons main priority at present.

I still reckon Portland's average age would be lower then Seaton's though NM. We have very few blokes over 25, a large chunk of the side is in the 19-22 age group.

Mind you, having Marshy in your side would increase any teams average age...

Patruno vs Coppins should be a highlight of this week, at CHB/CHF respectively.

Hawthorn Oval is looking a treat. Have had the Sturt CC boys groom it for us over the off-season.
