I think GTB should hang out with Scout. Scout can ask the questions, GTB can give the answers...

I think he is referring to the bloke who came from Houghton during the year and played C grade. Cant think of his name. But I hardly think half a season in the C grade makes hin a Hope Valley boy GTB!

What does that make me then?? ;)

FFS St Paul's will not have it their own way! Never have we said anywhere we are the team to beat or raved on about who we have recruited....If neutral observers want to rate us from the outside that's up to them but a ball hasn't even been bounced yet!

Div 7 is wide open!!

Of course it is Riddler!

Winning 6 of 9 in the second half of 08 was a strong finish & only missing finals by a game & % as well as several losses by under 5 points made SPOS the best team outside the 5 so with the stand out teams & 1 surprise team being promoted, reformed and expanding clubs trying to consolidate and be competitive, you would have to say that SPOS will be 1 of the teams to beat and would be a definite favorite for GF in 09, Bradman call is correct!

As I said if oustiders want to rate us before we've even bounced a ball that's up to them...we're definately not thinking like that!

Quichey, how do you think Houghton and the Gullies C/D grade will match up against each other in the trial?

Depends, how many of your B-Graders will have a run? I think it will be a pretty competitive hit-out. To be honest, I've missed playing you fellas over the last three years, it's always a friendly rivalry and we are looking forward to having you come over the hill again.

Not sure that any of the B-Graders will play as far as i know. Last year in C's and D's trials none of the guys from the higher grades played in them. Just trying to work out what the difference would be between a Div 7 and 7R team compared with C1/C5 team.

your gullies c grade would be an average middle of the road div 7 side. the uni c1 side which beat the gullies would have gone close to beating the uni div 7 team which finished 7th or thereabouts.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much
