Flinders v GG - pretty good last week, should get up comfortably (10 goals)
SMOSH v Pooraka - think both teams coming up may struggle, SMOSH too good (10 goals)
Mitcham v Para Hills - must get our first win this week, have done well against PH recently (5 goals)
Seaton v Pembroke - if they can kick straight, I think Pembroke will get the win, but will be close (4 goals)
Portland v CBCOC - should win well (6+ goals)

Flinders Park looked good last week, as did we, but IMO, not nearly as good as the standard we saw from PAOC and Old Iggies last year, could make for a very interesting competition.

Lots of younger guys? Marshall still making an appearance in best players for the Ramblers!

In the Chair and No Mercy were there having a few brews together, a chat about the game, world politics and a meal together, so maybe they might know

Flinders park vs Golden Grove - Bit too strong for GG I fancy. 17 points...and a ten goal win.
SMOSH v Pooraka - Danger game for us, Pooraka are a bit of unknown and clearly made Seaton Earn their win last week - by no means an easy feat. Must go in with the same intencity as last week, hopefully for another hard-earned away win by a few cheeky goals.
Mitcham v Para Hills - Like Mitcham in this one. Will be close, but they play their small oval quite well.
Seaton v Pembroke - Still got some quality kicking around, and think they should get over Seatonin a bit of an upset.
Portland v CBCOC - Portland to get on the board with a strong win at home. Heard jars gave an almighty spray at 1/4 time last week, CBCOC Would want to start well, otherwise they'll cop it from jars, and the Thunder hill crowd!

Few good close games this week again - bloody even division!

SMOSH to beat Pooraka - again to much quality and if they bring the game they did last week 40+ points
Mitcham to beat Para Hills - Mitcham are a good side, if they can shut down the coach and flynn 36 points
Seaton to beat Pembroke - not all as bleak as all thought at seaton plenty of good players still 15 points
Portland to beat CBCOC - have had the wood over the dolphins and coming off a loss will look to bounce back

Must be pretty handy having Portland, Seaton and Smosh all in the same comp, you can hang around for 3 or 4 pints and still make it back for your own awards.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Flinders park vs Golden Grove -Flinders Park were good on Sat so would expect them to win this one. 10 Goals
Pooraka v SMOSH - SMOSH have only heard good things about this this year. 6+ Goals
Mitcham v Para Hills - We can bounce back with a few more players coming into the team thisweek. Always a good battle with Para Hills never easy beats. 4 Goals
Seaton v Pembroke - Pembroke looked alright Friday night. They rely on a few players to do the work but can see them just winning this one. 2 Goals.
Portland v CBCOC - After watching CBC last week they were very average. They miss douglas and hegarty ALOT just to get those hard balls and clearences. Just on a side note a CBC A grader from last year who played B Grade last week during the last quarter of the A grade game went down to the other end of Norwood oval to abuse the Full back. Yelling at him his Mum's this and that and he is an Effing ....,(Im sure you get the picture). Once Pembroke got 2 goals in front halfway through the last quarter he went back to the grandstand. Pretty weak effort to sit behind the fence and yell this out if you ask me! Anyways Portland 10 goals +

smack on LM its great to be able to have a couple of beers back with the opponents from that day a couple of times last year myself and a few others missed our own presos due to staying at opposing clubs for a few to many. i have noticed a large majority of sides in this Div especially do the right thing and pop in for a beer especially Para Hills, SMOSH

Flinders park vs Golden Grove - Flinders were solid but have had way too much hype. Should give GG a solid lesson though
SMOSH v Pooraka - Should be an easy win
Mitcham v Para Hills - Looking for a first up win to get the ball rolling...hopefully hawkyranger can get through a full game after some disappointing pre-season form :D
Seaton v Pembroke - Sounds like both are young sides so it should be a close one
Portland v CBCOC - Portland should smash them

When is Thornton due to line up for Portland? Or did he have a run on the weekend?

We'll supply a cordy keg, ham and cheese sandwich and bottled water for teams playing against us..... You know, do the right thing for those long drives home... ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

They'll have even more disappointed longtime clubmen playing twos!

I think its not that flinders have the ability to play with 17, its the ridiculousness of the decision to allow it that angers most people. Don't think the poitns system is too much of a concern in div 3 anyhow. Really only Div 1 and country footy that is effected by it IMO. FTR SMOSH played with zero points (98% sure) on the weekend.
