No troubles at districts regarding payments. They were supposed to get paid last thurs but the treasurer was interstate and the footy director didnt sort anything out. The money is there dont worry about that. As for Biasci havent heard a thing, would be handy tho!

Denis Iljecsson quits South & signs with Henley Sharks.
Henley are also trying to talk Jeremy Johncock out of Sturt.
Know doubt the catering given to the Sharks by Shadiac have made them financially sound or the X LOTTO winner!

Thats a real shame.. Henley's cheering though no doubt.. I think it will be a Henley vs Gaza GF this year.. Both have very strong squads with alot of depth.
A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.. So who came up with the saying quit while your ahead.
Respecting that someone's allowed to have an opinion doesnt at all mean you must respect that opinion.

One big SOOK last year that had his ass kicked out.

Had a look at the districts game last saturday. Were missing quite a few first picked players.
Is this the reason for there poor showing so far or is it the jump from Div2 to Div1 is greater than
everyone thinks it is.
Also is Cox back playing with Seaton?????
Your mate isnt he No Mercy!!!

Apart from Vettese and Kelly there has been no real recruits out there this season. Lost a CHB, HFF, Ruck, 2 x Wing/HFF, HBF and BP and haven't really successful in replacing them. Definately lacking in the tall department. There are some guys playing out there that are definately not Div 1 standard, not a lot of depth in the reserves this year either. I'm personally not a fan of Delaney, rumblings that some players might have the same opinion.

few port district boys very unhappy with monthly payments not arriving on time.
trouble ahead maybe???

They had problems years ago in that area aswell, alot of players missing out on their $$$.
Rumour mill's circling at the moment, Shane Biaschi from Port Magpies has been offered $500 to play at Districts, pretty quick on moving in for the kill once the bloke got dropped to the reserves.
Tell me how are they going to pay that?? Don't get fooled Shane.

pull ya head in big fella,
$500 a game :weedman:

I know Steed & Carter were on that sort of money but Hodges never asked or took anything near that figure.

yes there is a salary cap, something like $45,000 i believe. And Shaz in right, districts have been very poor at recruiting this year, dont seem to want to spend money. They need to if they want to stay in div 1. The backline is just leaking goals, very poor on the weekend, Broadview kicked 5 in a row and one stage. Districts dont know how to stop the flow. What happened to seaton i thought they wouldve been a big show againt ROCS.

Rightly so, its probably a good time to play alot of the young ones, atleast they'll have a crack & go down fighting & also not worry about what their getting payed at the end of the day.
The young kids of today are the future of the club, its good to see them setting an example as far as numbers back at the club after a game is concerned. Some of the A graders need to have a real good look at themselves.

Seaton haven't changed by the looks? Went down "swinging" with a couple of reports on sat. Predictable once they got behind.

Everyone has been paid with no problem at districts.
