He played all his Juniors for West LAkes and went to St Micks College. Dare say other clubs will throw stupid amounts of money his way eg country or interstate. He would be a 0 point player for us and would be fantastic for the players and the club. He is more the welcome at the DEN.

Good luck with that Schimma, itd be good to see Mega-Head running around in the Ammos ;)

Goolwa in the GSFL would be a good chance to get Brett Ebert next year. His good mates with Vinnie Rugolo and Daniel Lees and they both having a kick there this year.

I reckon it may go the other way, Leesy may come back and play at SMOSH with Brett Ebert. I know they both have said that they want to play a season together at SMOSH before giving it away

I would like to think he could play a couple of season at the Magpies before deciding to do this.

Rugolo and Lees are also 0 pointers. Would be great pickups for SMOSH, and may well attract others to join them.

Very interesting. Back to this year though, SMOSH have positioned themselves well for a crack at divvy 1 footy, although I still think PDistricts will take out the premiership. Exciting times ahead!

I think anyone of the top 3 sides could win it this year. Having played against all three sides I must say that SMOSH are my favourites. They are a very good running side, have some key talls and a couple of really good mids. If the finals are played in good weather and on a big deck like thebby I think the Lions will have to many runners for other sides to beat them. If the weather is a bit crappy and the games turn into a bit of a slog then the other two Port teams will have a red hot chance too. Prob a bit harsh on Dirstricts who have the best record to date but SMOSH seem to have the depth.

Only one in for Portland
I thought they rested 4-5 last week but i'm hearing more like 3 coz 2 were carrying injuries, those 2 havn't come up for 2mrws game either, big loss to Portland.
Similar result to last week i think SMOSH by 60pts.

Tough hard game of Football from both sides....Portland made fewer mistakes in the last quarter and finished the stronger to earn their victory. As for Rae....your and idiot

Well he got a few soft free kicks in my opinion. The umpiring overall was very average.

Huge result for Portland. Port District, who have not played their best footy of late, would have preferred to play SMOSH I would have thought.
A Portland and Pt District final two years in a row, with a bit more riding on this one.
If Portland can stop McDowell they will go a long way toward winning the game.
ps I wish I hadve been there to see Prior throw the footy at the SMOSH players face.

Pretty big result for Flinders Park too, who wouldve been very happy to have had the game not held at Park 9 - it was half under water on Friday night. Will be a pretty close game against SMOSH I reckon. Dodman looks like he was very influential, and with the likes of Martinello, Hains, Fuller, etc, Flinders will be hard to beat. In saying that, SMOSH did touch them up fairly easily last time they met if my memory serves me correctly.

Is anyone from Flinders on here? Is Hobba in the A grade the same Hobba who has been floating around the C's for the last few years?
