They had atrial against Rosies saturday. I have heard they were beaten by 6goals and also heard they lost 76pts. I was also told they gave their u18s fair run and Rosies were a bit too physical for them.

yeah i heard 76 points

According to the Great Southern Football League web site, CLG's have 4 new players from Victor Harbor. The 4 ins are not superstars but all have and do play current country A grade football. I would think that they will have a huge impact in Div 6 footy. Keep an eye out this year for these lads. Maxwell, Sheridan, Wood and Kirkbride

What sort of coin would it be? These guys at their peak in full training could get $250 in some leagues

Its a strange move. A lot a guys have a crack at the SANFL, Western Border League or Div 1,2. Have never heard of a GSFL player playing in Div 6 (no offense intended)

Victory against clubs spending thousands on players would be rather sweet. I hope you beat them too.

Greenacres v Houghton on the weekend.
The Dragons got up by over 20 goals in both grades.
Pretty good signs apparently, looking forward to rounds one.

Damn it, neagle won the bet!!

Your right there are six. One of my mates is on the list and you are spot on about them not getting paid. I know nothing about the league, but great effort by clg's to secure these players. Ben Lawrie to win the league medal!

I think Victor have a policy of refusing all clearances - they seem to have done it with everyone thats been requested. Unless there is a valid contract signed and/or money owed, then they cant hold them in the long term.

Most play A's, and all capable of playing good games against good opposition. They will eventually get cleared Victor will just make it a little bit difficult for them. Together they should carve up in div 6.
