Ok, so It's not Salisbury or Elizabeth or Smithfield or Pooraka...every other Northern Suburbs club has two names

Not sure mate, bit surprised we haven’t lodged anything yet, I am sure Ken and the committee are busy beavering away.

There will only be one A Grade SAAFL Medallist playing for Mitchell Park – The Great Joe Leck. Joey played all of last year in the magoos so I don’t think he will be any threat to your title aspirations. Assuming you're talking about Matty Francis who indeed did win a SAAFL medal in the B’s for Mitcham. Matty will be very handy and should provide a lot of drive, he is unfortunately having knee surgery so we are all hoping he recovers fully.

Our best recruit is Ben Weekly. It’s great to have Princess back.

Not trying to hide anything, we’re going OK, have picked up a couple of handy players and kept most of last years team. Definitely not as strong recruitment wise as yourselves, Mawson Lakes and Rosewater, nor did we have the strong starting position of Lockleys, WOS and Central United. C grade is still being organised and isn't a 100% I don't think.

So the betting is not at all a psyop and it is about right - hey ask the Ingle Farm guys and they reckon we will get relegated.

11 recruits now morell..puts you 3rd to rosewater and mawson lakes..nice try at deflecting..MPFC are mid range at worst..the lower you put them in the betting the higher i rate them..you have form for trying to obfuscate :)

"nor did we have the strong starting position"
you have a strong starting position coming off a flag! loss of 1 maybe 2 and plenty of ins..

play on!

Zedman, morell does enjoy playing his beloved club down, but Ben Weekley is clearly their best recruit. 2 or 3 others will be around the mark but if you go up a division you need 5 or 6 anyway, just to be competitive. :)

I sent down one of my sources to CLG training Wednesday night Zed and he WALKED back to the Tonsley to give me the lowdown. I paid him in beers and he informed me during his travels through the back streets he received beers from passing motorists encouraging for his 1.5km walk..... How do you think you'll shape up?

Zed was seen after training this week handing over a large sum of money. I assume it was to either (a) pay a huge sign on fee for a new star or to (b) take the very generous $6 that is on offer on safooty :D

That could only be one person. Adelaides own rainman :)

We hope we are in the mix for finals LK but its a really tough division and if you drop your guard for one minute you get beaten.

After 8 weeks of no smoking that money would have been for more lollies for me to consume watchdog!

You are correct Zed. Braddles had a bet on with DC that he'd come down and DC was a no show..... Pissed my self laughing about beers getting handed to him by passing car. Olympic athletes get Gatorade and water during tough and grueling marathons and then this p**** walks 10 minutes and the St.Marys back street marshalls hand him a can of red death!

Most of them still have pimples on their face and might not have even kissed a girl yet. Which is great as we need an influx of young people, but they aren’t going to instantly start tearing up senior level football, even at our “lowly” level.

Weekley, Simper, Francis, Daish and the Wildes will likely be starting A Graders ... but we needed to add 4 or 5 just to be competitive. To be playing finals we need another 4 or 5 I would have thought. Including in my opinion a starting ruckman and a couple of tall defenders - you know anyone? Have any spares we can have a chat to?

I haven’t seen anything in the clearances (or at training, you know, actually witnessing these recruits) which makes me want to dramatically reel Mitchell Parks odds in, I think they will sneak in a tad. Mawson Lakes the big mover – I reckon The Riddler has been blackmailing innocent amateur footballers with nefarious photos.
