I wonder if he would have responded in the same fashion if he said that North Haven will win the 2's flag? Some people must selectively forget we live in a democracy and not in a society with rose coloured glasses. How dare you have an opinion WUB ;) ..... Even if it is a stab in the dark:)

I watched the first half of the B grade game yesterday and parts of third and our boys were a complete class above Glenunga's B grade. While the A grade game was a bit of a slog our B grade moved the ball extremely well from defence and through the midfield given the conditions, their skills were spot on and to keep the Rams to only 3 goals was a great effort. There's not much more you can ask for with them being 9 and 0 going into the break.

Here we are at the half-way point of the year.

Mid-Seaaon Table sits as follows...
1 Kenilworth 59.00 14
2 Woodville South 53.97 14
3 Elizabeth 54.38 12
4 North Haven 48.94 10
5 Trinity OS 50.64 8
6 Lutheran 50.00 8
7 Glenunga 47.27 8
8 Fitzroy 46.78 8
9 Para Hills 47.58 6
10 West Croydon 42.74 2

What are everyones predictions for Final 5 and relegated spots now?

Mine are as follows...

Woody South
Kenilworth
Elizabeth
North Haven
Para Hills

Relegation
Fitzroy
West croydon

Such an even comp this year from what we have seen, could be anyones game, and could see that top 5 in pretty much any order. Snuck para hill sin there for 5th, only because of the way we finished off the first half of the season, need to carry that on after the bye week.

Fitzroy would be dissappointed with their results so far. Were expecting big things during preseason.

West Croydon really under the pump to stay up,how it can turn so quickly.played in a Preliminary final in Div 5 in 2011

For me the only definites are WC going down and Kenilworth top.

There is very little between 3rd and 9th I just hope my team can hold their nerve and get one of the top 5 spots up for grabs.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

My ladder at the start of the season
1. Adelaide Lutheran
2. Elizabeth
3. Kenilworth
4. North Haven
5. Fitzroy
6. West Croydon
7. Glenunga
8. Woodville South
9. Trinity
10. Para Hills

Woodville South and Trinity are obviously doing alot better than I predicted while Adelaide Lutheran aren't doing as well as I thought after predicting that they would be at the top of the ladder.

My Top five at the end of round 18

1. Kenilworth- Best team in the division by a long shot, their loss to Para Hills is just a small bump and will get them back on track going into the second half of the season, a ten goal thumping of Trinity is proof of that.
2. Woodville South
3. Elizabeth
4. North Haven- Have to become more consistent in the second half of the season if we want to play finals footy.
5. Trinity/Fitzroy

I hope you are right OKC, we have gained a lot of confidence over the past month.
If we can turn some of the narrow losses to wins in the second half of the year then anything is possible.
