good day down at seaton on saturday considering we lost started of with the C grade pooraka lost tryed all day some very very very old seaton players running around looked like they really enjoyed it crowd really enjoyed it

B grade was another good fast pace game Pooraka seem to have the measure all day and a good win to end the season for the guys

A grade what can i say tryed hard all year with the players we had we lost 3 big guys from last year that couldnt be replaced and then 4-5 more A grade players to go out for season long injuries really tested us but we tryed and credit to all who stepped up in the A grade we had 6 players under 18 play years old play div 4 will also be a test for us and hopefully we get some bigger body players over the preseason.....

interesting to see who will coach the A grade next year an ex league player would be great to try and encourage some quality to come out but love us or hate us we try week in week out

hopefully seaton showers have hot water this week coming in after the game to find flooded toilets and no hot water i could only laugh :)

Shrek & the Kilburn F\C giving the Amateur League their blessings! :finga:

What do you think Shrek? you like?

Well i LOVE it. Obviously a premiership would be perfect but promotion after two years of relegation would be good reward for all the loyal blokes we have at the club.
Interesting to see you have the Lions dropping their last 3 after last weeks pantsing of the Dolphins. I have only seen them train this year and havent actually seen them play but they looked fit and sharp and with their depth surely must fancy their chances at promotion. Im assuming you would have seen them first hand NM as i know you get out to quite a few games. Is there any particular reason why you anticipate another major round fade out??

NM has set out what should happen if the favourite wins each week. It's unusual that the two favourites come from 3rd and 4th on the ladder after round 17, but that's the way it is.

What would also be unusual is a finals round without upsets. I thought Mitcham were hopeless and had no chance, but they almost knocked off Seaton whom I rate.

In reality any of the top four are a realistic chance but if I was to tip the outcome of the next 5 weeks it would be exactly the same as NM.

I didn't have to look far back

Saying we are favourites, or tipping us to win the premiership, is different to announcing that we have it.

Who would you tip to win the premiership?

I think SMOSH will be there and so should Kilburn, but I think this week game (Seaton vs Kilburn) will show if Seaton are really the second best side in the league.

Not sure TBS.
On form Kilburn have to be favourite, but finals are a different thing - look what Kilburn did last year.
Mitcham might do that this year - I heard they tried to get a permit for Brett Ellis to get some extra muscle in the side.

take into count Mitcham where still fighting for a spot in the 5 and came out and got spanked by a side fighting to stay away from relugation. And plus they would have to meet SMOSH, and seeing they have never beaten SMOSH can't see that happening.

Mitchum will be spanked by 15 goals if it's dry on Saturday.

Last year in div 4 was completely different. We had beaten everyone above us prior to the finals. Everyone in the top 4 is a chance this year, but not Mitcham.

Merely an example of what can happen.
I haven't seen any Div 3 games this year, so wouldn't know.
Then again, I usually have NFI anyway.
