Gillian Aldrige ( Mayor of Salisbury) has accepted the clubs offer to be the Patron for the season, and she will be accompanied by MP Frances Bedford to jointly toss the coin for the commencement of the A Grade and celebrate the completion of our new lighting which the council provided at a cost of $300000-00.

They shortly thereafter will be off to other functions etc.

Sorry Golden Grove, sometimes the best laid plans come unstuck.

We have one of Adelaide's top cover bands "This Way Up" at the club from 8pm. Feel free to stick around or come back after your presentation.

Portland lads - Noticed the picture of Birdy and Pearcey in the messenger looked good but who is the homeless man in the back of the picture?
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Yeah no biggie from our point of view. Happy to play whenever. Looking forward to the day and catching up with a few of the PH boys that are on here...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

No they won't because its too good an idea & smart thinking.
Please don't get no mercy started on the umps again. We will have to hear again how it cost him and his bunch of glory hunting players the flag last year. Can't be bothered with it all over again.
Never once you fool have i blamed the umpires to where Seaton finished last year, they were a disgrace yes but they were consistantly disgraceful & the whole of Div3 suffered because of it, plenty of others have backed me up on that.
As for glory hunting for the flag "InTheChair" the players down there don't play for that reason stupid, there all about me, myself & i not the club.

Fair enough. he was only a B grader at SHOC wasnt he ?

Will still be handy at this level. Was a strong SHOC B grade last year and he should have an impact.

I'll open the can of worms, feel free to flog a dead horse. SHOC B grade last year would of beaten most Div 3 sides ;)

Portland lads: Boyd mccurry named in teh 1's. Imagine he'd be pretty light on training-wise due to cricket? Must be rated reasonably highly down at the thunder dome!?!?!

Should be a cracking day of footy.

Boyd is a very handy player with good skills, always been a question over his fitness though. Havent seen him in a couple of years so he might have fixed up that area of his game.

He is too slow for div 1. Good skills but needs time with the footy which he didn’t get in Div 1. Will be good in Div 3

Portland v SMOSH is game of the round across all divisions imo. I have heard Portland have a couple of handy ins. The contest in the middle will be even, but i feel as though SMOSH have more quality down back. SMOSH is my tip.
