I wish I was confident...Salisbury West always are always a tough side to beat, won't be easy, and I'll take a 1 point win.

The Bradley 'Commonwealth' Banks show continues to role on with another 4 to the dynamic due of Banks and MC Raig!!!!

Have heard people are starting to talk about these two as the Franklin/Roughhead of the Amatuer league.

I hear the better half of that dynamic duo was rested last week due to rotation policy. If they didnt rest a gun like M.Craig they mightve won by 200pts instead of 100!

Was wondering if any players that could play higher but choose to play c grade at eastern park, will be told they have to play higher with the a and b grade yet to win a game and the c grade winning by 100+ points each week? Its great winning c grade but helping young lads out in the bs and pushing spots in the a's would be better for the club in the long run?Dont know anyone out there so can anyone fill me in

Their C grade played C1 last year, they didnt win a game fair enuff but to drop all the way to C4?? Thats why they are dominating, not to to many quite at Div 2R level i wouldnt think.

Incorrect Duncs. They have atleast 5 that could make the step up, quite possibly more. They have some very good players in their side. I can tell you more after Saturday! Top blokes, looking forward to having a beer with them after the match as I have played footy with probably 3/4 of their side.

As for the gradings, they were put in C4 because they lost every game last year, that's what C4 is about, those who were flogged. I doubt they have the same side, but that's how the SAAFL worked it out. There was no way the SAAFL could predict they would get a few more handy players in.

If they keep belting sides we might move them up like they do in junior footy 8)

I know payneham have a few blokes that just wanted to play c's,but have found themselfs playing b's due to the fact the club has told everyone you play were your picked to play.C1 to c4 is a big drop maybe c3 would have been better but its a long year and i remember golden grove last year in c6 had a d grade that should have been playing c's or b's top all year and went out in straight sets. Its still hard to win a flag in any grade you play. How they have started the year they are clear favourites at the minute

I would expect them to go through undefeated, such is the strength of their c grade list. We are looking forward to the challenge tomorrow, hoping some rain sets in to even out the contest!

Worst 9 ever. I did my groin today carrying the fat headbanded ****. Interesting to see how he gets next week without me. The attempted scissor kick in the square today was an almost footy legends moment. Pretty sure he Falconed himself

Big thanks to GFC for hosting us today and putting on the beers for our players afterwards. Sorry a lot of us couldnt hang round but we had to get back to PNU as its rare we are able to see any A grade action. C4 should be about blokes playing footy for fun and i was impressed with the way both teams handled the situation where a guy from each team got ambition and capabilities confused. PNU boy was dragged by their skipper and GFC boy got told to pull his head in. I know we had a big win but the spirit the game was played in made it very enjoyable and its good to see teams play the game the right way. Good luck to GFC for the rest of the year, a top bunch of lads who won my respect :)
