Your making it sound like he's putting himself in the draft. The only thing that may take adjusting is the speed but he is well up to that. And for the record horses can improve. Maluckyday couldn't win a maiden at Wyong his first start 9 months ago and now has run a 2nd in a melbourne cup. Its just my opinion and only time will tell.

To be fair, the Cox Plate is a far better quality of race than the Melbourne Cup
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Bit rough to judge a bloke before he has played a game.

Normally when you jump in the deep end you have to learn to swim pretty fast.

He will be fine.

Excuse my naivety on Kenilworth Jake, but who's Parry and is he not good enough to be paid or is it a joke that he is playing div 6 instead of higher?

Yes, do tell Jake, because what ive witnessed the guy can play.

It'll be great if he plays for us, he one of those blokes that everyone is in awe of and you can learn so much just from watching him train and play. I hope he has a really good pre-season, gets himself back too full fitness after not playing much last year and then who knows what can happen from there.

Think you've got the wrong Greg Dempsey. As pointed out there are 2, one which was on the Crows list and may now carry some weight and the ex Port Adelaide one who is returning from playing with Birdwood.

Think you would have to include "Dutchy" Holland in that list as well and he could easily top the list of Clubs played at. Probably only 2nd to Marc Cox in Amateur League History is Shaun "Dutchy" Holland with Clubs played at

Dempsey hasn't played at anywhere near as many clubs as Coxy

Dempsey - Port Adelaide - Port Districts - Salibury West - North Haven - Birdwood is 32 years old

Coxy - Port Districts - Port Adelaide - Norwood - West Adelaide (not certain) - Port Districts - Seaton - North Haven - Seaton - Encounter Bay - Kersbrook - Para Hills - Encounter Bay - Port Districts im sure ive missed some steps along the way and will definitely not be at Port Districts next season and is only 27

He went very well in your league. From what I heard- pound for pound and fully fit, was the best player you had - just didn't have the hype attached. As for slower league I'd agree, but not much slower than where your potentially heading. Any bloke that has played at his level is always tough to match up on no matter what speed the game is played.

thought i read something on the hills forum about houghton picking some blokes up from one of the hills teams, cant remember who it was thought or if its even correct.

havent heard anything about blacks or trinity, as for CLG its all quiet on the western front.
Visser is gone and possibly dalby as well but other than that there is not much news. Im sure we'll all know more once everyones pre season starts, i think personally we go back the first week in janruary.
