SAAFL Div 2 & Div 2R (2011)

It will be interesting to see how Pt Districts go with points. With the bulk of their recruiting coming from Torrens Valley in the HFL each of these players will carry 3 points i believe. Also is McDowell signed cos i did hear that Torrens Valley are still making an effort to keep him.

Hills country league = 2 point players and yes McDowell is a definate starter.

The page i downloaded from saafl site says hills central and country are category 1 therefore 3 points. Have i got the wrong info?

I think you will find Hills Central is 3 points ad Hills Country have been moved to a category 2 therefore 2 points only.

Is there anywhere we can get an updated version then?

Sorry, just checked it again and it has been changed. Seems strange though as the top few sides in Hills country are better than any teams in a few of the catagory 1 leagues.

28year old. was at mt lofty for about 8 years. before that was at eagles. was a very quick wingman now i believe moved up forward

dont know about 8 years at lofty, cos he played at adelaide uni for at least 2 around 2005/6 i reckon

Forgive me, my "bollocks" was not inferring your claim to be false however you went to great lengths to stress it was no reflection on the Adelaide Uni FC and yet out of every possible thread it could've been posted under, you choose Div 2 Amateur League.
You regaling your unfortunate experience has no more place in the Div 2 thread than it does under the Cricket (AUCC), Athletics (AUAC), Soccer (AUSC), Rowing (AURC), Hockey (AUHC), Lacrosse (AULC), Archery (AUAC), Sports Association (AUSA) threads let alone perhaps having more purpose in the general thread where the Adelaide City Council might bear responsibility not to mention the scores of North Adelaide NIMBYs (Not In My Back Yard) who resent anyone using those grounds whether a student from the Adelaide University or as you put a group of youngsters attempting to break stereotypes from the Peninsula.

coming from div3 this year he would be the same points as if he were moving from a div2 team as i understand it.

div 1,2,3 all attract the same points. (i think)

Yep, he played Div 3 in 2010 so worth three. Good player though.
