Why don't they use the SportingPulse one?

SFL introduced it last year, and yeah sure there were hiccups early on whilst the users and the league got the systems set up and proper training done, but overall it has been working pretty well this season.

Auto-updates were introduced this season, so people can see results online from about 6.30pm Sat nights, and 6pm Sundays for the Sunday matches.

Obviously you have a far more demorcratic system in place in the SFL. Seemingly if 1 person wants it in the SAAFL most of the other decision makers just roll over and do as they are told. Also to have an idea that was not thought of by the great one who thinks he is is charge it just wont happen unless the Coffee Makers agreee. Sporting Pulse by all accounts is great but dont expect it any time soon in the SAAFL or at least until hopefully in October or November ;) ;) by then hopefully all problems are sorted out.

Anyone who read the SAAFL News this week after Henley's win on the weekend left as puzzled as i am?? Sure Henley pay players and SHOC's do not, but did it have to be mentioned in every paragraph of Ashley Porter's review. Whether you pay players or not, surely on GF day, blokes would play for nothing if it came to it. The result on the day has nothing to do with the amount of money someone is getting for that game, earlier in the season to get them to the club.... possibly an issue.

It's good to see people taking the player profiles seriously. I reckon its a bit immature to be changing people's names to get a cheap giggle.

Are clubs being penalised for failing to submit their teams online before the midday deadline on Fridays?

Never. I've just noticed that sometimes some clubs don't put theirs up until Saturday.

If they do put them up on friday they are a complete waste of time as they have no jumper numbers like one D1 club does or less than 21 players listed bit hard to do a match day program on this basis.

Complete waste of time as you have so many changes to make especially in C1 - C6

11 changes in our C1 & C6 sides this week on thursday night.

The office want us to make those changes by 12pm Friday. I then usually have another 10 changes after that. Waste of time give us a our books back for these grades it would be so much easier. Especially when you play in a clash jumper all the numbers change even more work required. Can't wait until we dump Iscore it's a piece of rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~x( ~x( ~x(

Trying to find scores and around 10.45pm Saturday night. Want to see who won but no website to look at. Is there a problem?

How can a website just disappear or my browser tells me it is not available? - bit confused as does not happen on other association sites

Check a few associations scores on a Saturday night most weeks, but the Amateur league one seems to always be down or having troubles.

Is there a person responsible for maintaining this or a company or someone to ring to fix it if constantly not working many Saturdays or why not have them working Saturdays

Am no IT expert at all but seems like it can not be that difficult. Just a humble opinion, thought and observation on another association I guess

What is i-score website and how to find? - googled another site on the Amateur league at talkingamateurs but they have not got scores either

It the league and talkingamateurs sites have not got scores its a disgrace really. One of them should have scores. The talkingamateurs one is at least working but no scores.

Will wait until the Sunday mail now, if that is also not missing as well.

Be Careful what you wish for, any added costs for upgrades or repairs will be borne by the clubs. It would appear this great website which according to Shadiac, the AFL are jealous of will go down the same path as the Pulitzer Prize winning Centenary Book.
