Because Ovingham are now gone for the rest of the season. Will SAAFL retract all the results against Ovingham. There is distinct advantage for the teams that played against them and a gained 200+ win compared to the teams that got the forfeit and a 60 point win.

They're not, pretty sure amateur league has again changed their mind and allowed them to continue the season out.

You have got to be joking if this is true!!! What does Ovingham have over the league that makes them jump every time they are going to kick them out or they are in trouble??????????????

They say a week is a long time in football. Well cast your mind back to the "SAAFL CHAMPION CLUB" award for 2008. Thats right....Ovingham. If circumstances did infact change and Ovies have been allowed to continue as reported a few posts back, perhaps this has something to do with it??? I really dont know, the whole situation seems a bit confusing to me. I thought NG reported sianora for 2010. It would be good to know if i can give the boys a weekend off come round 16 or keep them primed and ready ;)

Well this story has more twists than a pretzel...

Apparently Shadiac suggested we be removed but the whole executive (unsure if it was the whole or a majority) voted against him...

Time to put an end to this, on again, off again. It's doing noone any good at all and only makes the SAAFL look like idiots for prolonging the agony.

Too true ACE it has got beyond a joke just stuffing everyone up.
Even your C Grade coach agrees that all scores in the games they have played should be wiped and everybody given a 10 goal win. Then it is fair to everybody concerned and nobody is gaining an unfair advantage.

Quite a noteable turnaround for North Pines since the coach and a player have left the club during the week. Maybe they weren't as good as first thought.

Heard an interesting story about a current NP player and what he wanted/expected when he went for an interview preseason with a Div 1 club.
OMG, talk about rating himself highly. Maybe someone needs to let him know the difference in standards of the 2 divisions!

Goodwood players are the ones in the goalkickers for the match, which would suggest scores are wrong way.
That would put them from 5th to second, maybe top depending on %.
I reckon every team in the 5 has at one stage been on top this year.
