Hey Mate,

Some very undiscipline players I was playin with 2day had three sent off without replacement throughout the day.... which doesnt help. Umpires were pretty bad but you cant expect much in C2, no excuses Ovies were far better than us 2day. Klompy got his hands on the ball early and set up a couple to, so qtr time I got the job for the rest of the day. Pulled up little sore, spoiled the ball just before the final siren and done something to my skinny wrist :-) lucky for the week off

Thats no good on the wrist, yer couldnt make it to the game but on the umpires as you said thats c grade footy for you,did any ovies boys get sent off?Klompy reckons hes stuffed and can hardly move, said you did at good job on him and played it hard but fair, said he kicked some goals in the first half but did nothing after half time, reckons both sides lack fittness and still around 6 to 7 good players to return to the side.

You played well Growler.. Klompy to slow in his old age.. Only looks young cos of all the mostueriser he uses. Yeh, Buncey(80) is a highly excitable young chap. I thought the umpiring was mis-handled at times but as we've all said, it is c grade football thus z grade umpires. Harder then you think though umpiring 36 blokes that know it all I reckon.

Hi Growler
Klompy tells me your umpire sent off 2 of your players? Also told me young Bunce was fired up again, lucky for you guys he wasnt really fired up and no-one hit him, just a little word of advise for next time stay well away from him if theres a fight, that boy can really go and was amongst the best kickboxers in aus for his age.Nice bloke off the field and a gun player but dont go hitting him or any ovies boys unfarly and behind play, seen him take a few out in the wingfield game after a few of there boys got dirty.Klompy told me you could do with a feed to beef up abit

Modbury just keep rolling on their merry way, 2 games clear. They've been down by 3-4 goals going into the last quarter in two games now and come from behind to win by a couple. Seems sides are celebrating too early and underestimating the hawks spirit. What's going on at PHOS or are Pembroke that good?

Your right MODBURY flying at the moment but its finals that count, thats when most sides are at full strenght.I no OVIES had atleast 9 out against them and proberly there best 3 to 4,and as you said lead all day and got over run in last 5 minutes so they were more than happy with that hit out at modbury as well.I no a few of the boys are real keen for a crack at them heard they rubbed it in abit and were abit arrogrant in victory, only early and its along year, but well done so far on being undefeated.

pembroke are definately showing great signs of improvement...and some good players still to come back from injury, definately too early to write them off for a good second half of the season (dare i say possibly even finals)

Yeah wattle i live around the corner and havent been realy commited to my football for the past couple years and at Nth Pines I am able to rock up Saturdays and play without training. Was going to get a clearance this year but I cant train due to new baby and other teams arent going to pick me without me training. Been at Pines for bout 6 or 7 years now hard to leave.

wouldn't have picked PHOS to smash Uni by almost a ton... that's a big effort!

and poor wingfield could've scraped over the line for their first but no, they won't win a game all year!!!

can anyone beat Modbury???

Only if they do what TTG did with there C grade! Drop alot of players back for a local clash (GG vs TTG) to have a strong D grade.. Wont have that luxury to do that in finals TTG!

that's one of the frustrating things about any C grade, the team can change almost completely from one week to the next with injuries and pull outs etc. you can never really gauge a C's side properly. then come finals if players have played so many games that year in that grade it makes them eligible yeah???

one team clubs should have their own div, could that be a possibility...
