Anyone else think this isn’t right.

Play 8 league matches then comeback to your local club for finals.

Yes.. but you'd think the SANFLW season will soon align with SANFL, which would mean run concurrent with AdFL - so those who are playing at league clubs wouldn't be able to play for their local club and/or meet the finals eligibility requirement.

No affliction with them at all but that doesn’t help Henley this year.

My daughter plays in the D1 ressies, and some of the sides (including hers) get a lot better after the development league finishes, then better again when the SANFLW league finishes as their A grade fringe players drop down to bring in those players coming back. Is what it is.

How many times is it NOT their local club? It's generally a club that is doing well.

Women's is so much different to Men's in so many ways in the way they see / approach the competition.

Feels more like a glorified social sport season

I think there is also limits on who can recruit from a club (same as the Men) and next year there will be the points system starting to be introduced lime in the Mens

I'm not sure that there is and yes, I know that the points system is on it's way in, I wonder how that sites with clubs that formed this season? Obviously players wouldn't have played enough games for their club to be zero's but if you move on a few players to get under the points then you won't have a side.

Going to be intricate for the first few seasons but will be for the betterment of the competiton as a whole moving forward.
