I can't see it being a problem in revenue, if a player is only going to go to preso because he made the best on sporting pulse how much money do you think this player will spend at the club. How many clubs have actually seen a drop in numbers at preso and also haven't been given a reason for why players haven't turned up.

You clearly are not a rocket scientist Marbles. Team managers have to get the scores in by 5.30pm, or they will get a fined. The clubs would be happy with losing $100 for your challenge. Tell that to the committee at Henley.
I am sure the Sunday Mail would be really worried by the team managers or the SAAFL and not having their scores. I would be a case of we are printing the papers and without the SAAFL scores. Yes I can see Mr Murdoch and News Ltd holding up the presses for the SAAFL scores. Like hell. I am sure they will hold up the paper being printed to have an extra 20 people rock up to Henley or any of the clubs. Yes dillusinal if you actually believe that.

heha hell funny :) great stuff

Presos are for beer and schnitties. If you don't go to presos you clearly don't like beer and schnitties.

At our club, the coach picks the players for the paper, but for the money awards, 3 different blokes watching rank their top 6 players for the day and then they get averaged out. Our presentation awards are always different to the paper results.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Our clubs best players and those that get put in the paper are rarely ever the same.
A few years back our coach just put players that were on the bench in the best players in the paper.
And in years gone by the coach has let the team manager put the best players in and if you were loved by the team manager you could pencil yourself in.
If you don't come to presentations you don't recieve your awards. That's our rule.

hahahaha you have to be joking. the clown who thinks players dont go to presentations because best players are up on sporting pulse an hour before is a brainless twat. Id say 95% of players dont even check sportingpulse anyway

Look closer wise ones, be certain of your beliefs yes, but dont be so niaeve (how ever its spelt) to the modern day footballer

Youve all been hit with something new and a little bit left of centre and rather than comprehending the possibility, youd rather take swipes at me and say nah nah our players wouldnt dare to do that, they are all good little church boys

Welcome to 2012 I say

So call me clown make jokes but when 10 blokes a week strangely dont show, and your club loses 100 bucks a night, which is $2000 a year over 20 games, im sure your clubs bar manager & committee certainly aint laughing

I have all results up on our website by 5.20pm each Saturday night which includes, goalkickers and best players.

It also includes final scores from all other games in the Divisions that our sides play in

Has not had any effect on our players going back to the club whatsoever

I couldn't care less about whether I'm in the best players or not (probably cause I never am), but I'm with Q, the schnitzel is needed after drinking through the whole A grade game without eating, and don't forget the jukebox. A bit of Slice of Heaven by Dave Dobbyn and Rollin' by Limp Bizkit to get the night going.

Doesn't impact on whether or not I go to preso though, and anyone who doesn't go because of it is just a sooky lala!

And i hear you weren't happy on Saturday when you had a look.......Were you at presso's????

I didn't finish my Rugby League game until 7:30pm, and by the time I had showered and dressed etc was around 8:00pm, given how sore and tired I was and the fact I was sick, I decided best to go home. Whoever is announced in the best has no bearing at all on whether I attend presso or not..

what is going on with sportingpulse at the moment, when you go into the detailed results, you cant see the team list of who did play. it is only showing in some grades but not all of them.
