Theres been alot of interest in whether Wangas will pull the boots back on in the APFL for the Tigers. Will be great for the league and the United footy club.

Well, well, well! For any of you that may have ventured down to the water tower oval yesterday at long plains would have seen a great game. The atmosphere was sensational with a huge crowd, TV cameras and the great man himself....... yes thats right the one and only Gavin Wanganeen who many thought was just a hoax he would play, wore the United guernsey.
Head and shoulders above anyone else Gav helped himself to a nice 8 goals.
The man is a champion theres no doubt about it.
It was a great spectacle for those great supporters that were there.
Lets hope to see him again.

The Water Tower oval at Long Plains is a great deck to play on.
Reading todays paper with Gavs and Che's picture on the back page of the sports section, can only help boost the league. Its a shame that Gav being inducted into the Hall Of Fame will be put back. Although it will still come to him that honour at the end of the day. Im sure he wont mind that much as he would have had an absolute ball on saturday. How good is footy!!! :D

Dont know what league your from Hafey but the top 3 clubs in the APFL would give most other country and amateur league clubs a fair run for their money.
Longies is an absolute delight of an ovel to play on but Mallala's joint must take the prize. Lush ground. 8)

Dont worry about Hafey, he sits down to piss anyway and he shouldnt be throwing stones in glass houses, especially from Pt Districts.

What a hero!! Comes in a month out from finals when the worst of the weather is over and the hard work has been done. Will just qualify and oust some young lad who's done the yards on those cold winters nights. WAP!!!!!
