What's happening around BLG,
Let's get some discussion going?
Pre-seasons?
Recruiting?
Coaching?
Fire away!

How's Barossa District's going to back-up this year?
Do they lose many players?
How does the import rule effect them?

Dogwatcher,
What exactly is the import rule?

I'm not sure mate.
It's based on population and also positions on the ladder.
Obviously the higher you finish the less you have.
So for a club like BD which has relied heavily on imports in the past, a premiership could mean they lose an import or two....

Cotter was at Willaston in '06. Lee Coghill, ex-Pooraka captain will be out there in '07 as well.
Heard South had picked up a couple of decent key position players from the Yorke Peninsula but wouldn't know who or from what clubs.

Retired. Has been for a few years now, although has helped out with bits & pieces around club over the years. Style of play took its toll.
On Nuri, Nat Salter has left & is coaching at BSR in Mid Murray (where he comes from) has taken a couple with him by all accounts - wont post names until its official though (2 that I know of, another 1 or two possibles)
