Now 6 with one or two more still up in the air, how can they possibly play?

BL&G meeting tonight and I’d suspect they will go ahead with a 8 round season for all grades. The women’s, u11’s and u13’s could even kick off in as early as a fortnight

Not sure how they will work out finals obviously no one will want this year as their Grand Final, maybe the league picks a ground and all the monies are split between the clubs rather than the host. Then next year revert to normal plan.
Elizabeth oval an option just for this year?

Interestingly a club from another league (i think a Pirie club) is looking to enter the NEFA for one year so they can play.

Ports have put in a request to join the NAFA, I think Jamestown arent playing this year so it frees up a spot. Although I have heard the SGL are rethinking their decision to call the season off and may choose to play in the end.

SGL season to go ahead now with 4 teams confirmed. South Augusta to make a decision on Saturday regarding their involvement. No date set yet to resume

So from the AdFL, GSFL, SFL, HFL & BLG there is around 120 clubs, from my understanding only 2 clubs are not playing in Greenacres and Noarlunga.

Is that correct?

Very selective Dutchy , latest mail of community leagues in the state is 13 not playing and 11 playing with a number of clubs not playing in leagues going forward in 2020 correct ?

Its not a crack at you, just trying to confirm clubs not participating in the metro and near metro area.

Yeah 12 country leagues going ahead 12 abandoned and one undecided. Expect a crazy amount of player movement in next 2 weeks from blokes of abandoned leagues just keen to have a kick.

Does anyone know if there is any talk of extending june 30 clearance deadline and also any adjustments to the player points allocations for clubs? There will be plenty of 3 point players looking to transfer

The vibe I am getting is there will be no adjustments to player points, as its unfair on the locals who should be playing A grade to get pushed out for blokes who possibly might only play 10 games. Probably a good call!!

Also I would say it will get extended for a month but community footy will surely release something shortly on it all. It's bloody messy out there haha

Changes announced today and the Premier specifically said this 300 person rule will apply to local sporting clubs who want to get back operating and host games -

From today, the number of patrons allowed in hospitality venues has increased from 80 to 300, with the maximum number of people per room increasing from 20 to 75.

Just cancel it all if 300 is the number, Marshall is a joke
Im pretty sure BL&G wont go ahead if its still 300 at July 18th. I think thats the main reason why they are starting later than everyone else

This is inside club rooms, not the amount you can have at a venue/oval.
